The ladies in here were amazing and very well informed about the history of Florida and specifically Stuart and the Treasure Coast. Living in Stuart, I have visited once before with my two daughters, but this time I brought my mom and sister as well. The ladies really enjoyed giving a tour and explaining Florida's history. A+ experience if you have an hour to kill and want to gain some knowledge on the local area.
Small museum with lots of history within. The women running the museum are a wealth of knowledge. I’m glad local culture like this museum are free to the public. I’d recommend coming to this museum on a rainy day or in between errands in downtown Stuart.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Had fun viewing the history of Stuart. Very friendly staff! And bonus....that's me & my brother in the little pictures in the doll house on display.
A MUST visit for information and history on Martin County. I enjoyed seeing recent high school graduates and current high schoolers visting the shop today, and even purchased souvenirs! The museum has yearbooks for almost all the schools! Admission is free but donations are appreciated, as well as purchasing books and souvenirs!
Excellent experience. It's good to know about the history of Stuart.

Really cool spot documenting local history. The stories on showcase and the history feels really intimate.
Great history of Stuart area, both overview and detailed. Wonderful pieces in the museum. About 40 minutes to do.
