We celebrate diversity in way that can create unity!
The Student Interfaith and Multicultural Society of Temple University is dedicated to bringing together and sharing experiences with Temple students from various faith, philosophical, and cultural backgrounds for friendly and productive dialogues and community outreach events on and off campus. We believe that through inclusive operation and inter-sectional cooperation, we can successfully take on critical issues on campus and within ourselves.
SIMS (Student Interfaith and Multicultural Society) started off as a service based organization under the name Student Interfaith Initiative (SII). Early on, the founders realized that if any goal was going to be made resolving on campus issues regarding religious or cultural tolerances, we all as Temple University students and administration have a responsibility to cooperate and work for an enhanced agenda for diversity.
We strive and love to celebrate diversity in a way that can create unity, so we are always searching to collaborate and work with organizations that are expanding their own boundaries for their members. Members of the student body who are looking for a new kind of exposure and wish to diversify their interests will love what we'll have for them and how open we are to new ideas! You can find us on OwlConnect, Facebook, and Instagram.
