Student Leadership and Service engages students and other stakeholders in experiential learning for individual and collective development
Student Leadership and Service (SLS) engages students in leadership and service activities on and off-campus.
They organize service-learning trips during fall and spring breaks to locations like Yakama Nation in Central Washington, Tucson, AZ and El Salvador.
They facilitate leadership skill workshops on topics like collaborative social change work and exploring individual strengths.
Almost every week of the school year, SLS runs volunteer service trips to local nonprofits supporting causes like housing justice, environmental sustainability and educational equity.
They also plan blood drives and large-scale service days, engaging 100s of students in service at multiple project sites.
Visit the student office in Templeton 237 or check out their Facebook page for updates on current projects.
