Welcome! Studio G Performing Arts Center, formerly Dance Grosse Ile, is a nationally recognized studio which as received many top awards and is accredited by the Dance Educators of America.
Formerly Dance Grosse Ile, Studio G Performing Arts Center was formed in early 1997 by Gina Dudash, since then the studio has grown immensely. The studio's reputation speaks for itself. Besides an award winning competitive team, our students have also been selected to attend many prestigious schools such as the School of Ballet Chicago, American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, Blue Lake Fine Arts Academy, Dance Theatre of Harlem and Milwaukee Ballet. In addition our dancers have made call backs for broadway musicals. Our very own Meghan Zula made the final call back for Billy Elliot! Our competitive team has also been seen on the hit TV show Dance Mom's! Our own company dancer, Mari Dudash, is a part of the cast of dance moms and can be seen on numerous episodes in season's three and four. She is still making appearances on the show.
Dancers are encouraged regularly to take auditions for numerous jobs, including broadway shows, the rockets, television shows, and modeling opportunities.
Dance Grosse Ile has enjoyed taking part in special performances at Walt Disney World, Festival of Trees, Mackinac Island Lilac Festival and several local performances including their annual Nutcracker Ballet, as well as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty Ballet. Our dancers compete in many regional and national competitions, where the competitive team takes many top honors and top over all awards.
Dance Grosse Ile brings in the world renowned guest teachers to teach at the school regularly to work with all levels at the school in ballet, tap, theatre and jazz, hip-hop and lyrical.
