Great for treasure hunting. If you need kid clothes they will inevitably ruin anyway or some electronics it's always fun to check it out. Also usually have a ton of furniture.
There's a great selection of hard to find items at Stuff Etc with economical pricing. Also, some vintage items that can't be found in traditional retail stores. It's a good place to periodically check.
They have alot of stuff great prices. Alot of fun to treasure hunt through .
Update: Just spent $1.50 on a pair of Clark's boots. This place is amazing! Love going treasure hunting here. This time I found a full infant snow suit and a Ryka brand sweatshirt for less than $40. Staff is always helpful and music isn't too loud.
I love Stuff Etc!! The Iowa City location is my least favorite location though. It might be a problem of consigners at this location not having quality stuff? I'm not sure, but other nearby locations usually have much better stuff. That being said, it's still worth coming here, you never know what you can find- I have found plenty of treasures here! Staff are always kind and helpful.
Not even sure how they stay open, eBay prices on everything good and 90% of the merchandise is junk.. I’ve gone 3 weeks in a row and the merchandise hasn’t changed. Very disappointing...
I enjoy going to stuff, this location is clean and has plenty or staff when I've been there. Things are organized and labeled well and prices are pretty good, especially if you pay attention to the date on the items. Things dated 60 days ago are 50% off and things dated 90 days ago are 80% off.
Always find something awesome there!
It took some getting used to the new setup, but I like it now. I always find exactly what I need and more when it comes to clothes. Plus I like the convenience to this particular location since it’s less than 5 minutes away from me. I can tell the staff works super hard too by all the stacked bins in their consignment area. I get stressed just looking at it. I find good deals and good finds here so I’m happy!
