Style Encore - Omaha Central, NE

I was out with my sister and we came across Style Encore. This is one of our favorite spots for very inexpensive, practically new up-to-date fashions and the variety of sizes go all the way up to 6x. The store personnel are very helpful and friendly. Overall I want to shop here over and over again because I will never see someone wearing the same outfit and especially knowing that they buy new or gently used up-to date fashions on the spot. This is not a consignments store but better. Here a a few pics of the great buys I made.

If you really don't buy anything older than 2 years then put that on the website! I called before hand and they didn't mention it. So I wasted an hour of my time going there, no one said it had to be new as I put everything in their bin, when they were done looking through my things they said everything was older than 2 years so they can't buy it.... Would've been nice to know before. I'll find somewhere else to sell my vintage designer clothes and handbags I guess. Most is from the eary 2000's or newer other than a old leather jacket

I just had my first day on the job yesterday, and my manager is the best. She was checking in on me and my general impression is that my coworkers love to work and the customers love to shop here. I love getting the chance to look and fashionable clothes and shoes all day. It’s a really safe and awesome place to work, so I highly recommend working and shopping here!

Shop-This is a really fun second hand store to shop! They have really nice clothes and it seems like every 8th item still has the original tag. The best part is that they have an amazing selection of business/dressy clothes. Good prices for the brands, but on the higher end of pricing for a second hand store. Sell- Only bring washed stuff in good condition that is no older than 2 years a lot of clothes have the date they were made on a tiny tag by the washing instructions for best selling results. The don't take size 12 shoes.

I love Style Encore so much! This store is a hidden gem in Omaha, and the staff here are so friendly and helpful! This is a great place to find cute, quality, and professional clothing for work that won't break the bank! The clothing is all in excellent condition! I always find something here and it's my favorite place to shop in Omaha!

Went there today to sell my clothes and I'm not very impressed by them at all! They just told me lies on why they wouldn't buy my clothes! Won't be going back

Love this place! I always leave with at least a few pieces that I love. It’s the first place I’ve found in Omaha that reminds me of the designer consignment shops I used to love in Scottsdale! Great prices, and everything seems well vetted for being in great condition.

Definitely take the time to search through the racks and you just might find your new favorite piece of clothing!

I will never consign with them again. I came in right when they opened. They told me the wait would be Approx. 45 min to 1 hour. Then I call back an hour later and they tell me it will be an additional 45 min to 1 hour. This continues until it had been 4 hours and I finally just began waiting by the counter. I walked into the store and saw that they had gone through several bins that day when they still hadn’t finished mine. None of those people had brought in their items before me. The girl who was going through my things literally stopped every 2 seconds to organize hangers or something. My toddler can crawl across that place faster than she moves. She was also just really unprofessional in general which annoyed me. Another employee apologized and said it’s really just a guesstimate, that they were short staffed that day and very busy. Here’s the thing I understand making an educated guess based off of these factors that you as an employee have no control over. However there is a different between making an educated guess and straight up lying to people. I don’t live very close and I had my daughter who is under 1 year with me. If they had told me to come back at the end of the day I would have just gone home at that point instead of waiting around and it would have been worth it. It’s literally that simple, don’t mislead people and beat around the bush. Transparency is important with any business. This was my first time going and it was really more of a test run to see what items they take and what their process is like. I own an online boutique, I receive pallets of brand new with tags, name brand, clothing like free people that are current within that same year. I need to keep things moving so I have room for new product. At this point I could sell these items for a penny and it would technically still be a profit. It really doesn’t matter to me where is goes. I thought I would go support someone local but with the convenience of online consignment stores there is no reason to inconvenience myself like this again. My time is more valuable than anything and I think most people can agree with that. Thanks for wasting it.
