"Johnny, style this!" started off as a joke during beauty school. As time went by, it became my social media handle. Anyone who thought I would open my own salon could only imagine one name "in lights"...a decade later i present to you Style This.
"First, i was an artist. Then I became a colorist." was the tag line Wella Professionals used when we launched color.ID in 2013. This couldn't hold more true for any hair artist out there!
I spent nearly 4 years traveling as an educator for Wella Professionals. I like to think of hair color as my first language. You can get inspiration anywhere, any time of day, in any direction you look!
My time with Wella, I had the privilege to be trained by Top Artists (and hair idols) Alexandra Matiz, Mark Debolt, Nick Berardi along with Christopher and Sonja Dove.
During my time behind the chair I have been able to study from artists such as Adam Livermore (Oribe) and Nick Arrojo ("What Not to Wear"/Arrojo) raise the bar for industry and editorial standards.
