Dr Sachar is one of the best doctors in the South Bay! She is attentive to her patients care, educated in her field of practice, has amazing helpful staff, along with a clean & calming practice. 10/10 would recommend her for any gastrointestinal needs, medical grade spa, & weight loss.

This Spa is fantastic as they have helped me achieve some goals that I was struggling with on my own. I have been working with Dr. Sachar to lose some weight and her program has helped. Not only loss of weight, but an incredible increase in energy and vitality....My husband loves the new me. Also, the facials in the spa are excellent! I highly recommend this team for help with some much needed self care!

I’m am a retired RN and use to know all the great doctors in the SB but sadly most have retired or passed away. I picked Dr Sachar based on her reviews. I arrived at what I thought was a GI practice only to find that she’s running a med spa! I noticed when I signed my father in that there was another patient signed in for the same time. I was then told by a receptionist that my father has HMO Medicare and they don’t accept and HMO. My father does not have an HMO for either his MEDICARE nor secondary insurance. She said she had tried to call me but my VM was full. I looked through my phone call list and there was no call from this office. We were left in the waiting room for 1 hour. I watched the doctor jump from one room to another. My RN instinct kicked in immediately and I knew we were not in the right place. This is clearly a cash only skin care practice. Dr Sachar isn’t going to waste her time on an elderly 87 year old USAF veteran/aircraft mechanic who is in need of a GI doctor who has MEDICARE as his insurance. I apologized to my father. In my 30 years as an RN I have never been this dismissive of a patient and I certainly never allowed a doctor to treat a patient like this in my presence. If you are looking for a esthetician with MD next to her name then by all means Dr Sachar is probably the right doctor for you. If you are looking for a GI doctor, look elsewhere. The staff is all over these clients and selling them quite a few products. My husband is an attorney and he certainly has respect for other peoples time.

I was a patient of this office for a few years, initially referred for a colonoscopy. While my initial experience was positive, in retrospect, I stayed far longer than I should have or was comfortable. I primarily stayed due to one staff member who was exceptional, encouraging and was mostly the person I saw at each visit. When she left, the chaos became far more prevalent and obvious. The practice seems as if it was transitioning from a medical office to a medical spa. I noticed that at each visit, I was being offered more and more special products that were far more cosmetic in nature than they were medically necessary. At one point, I was pressured to submit to an expensive scan that was not necessary. When I objected, I was told, with some bizarre explanation, that it would cost me nothing and if insurance didn't cover it, it would be comped. It sounded suspicious to me and I declined. I was then told that next time I made an appointment, they would be doing the scan first. My resolution was not to make any further appointments. Another concern was the constant turn over of support staff. Aside from the staff member I mentioned previously, I rarely have been in the practice and seen the same staff members working more than 2 weeks in a row. The doctor seemed unable to keep consistent people. Oddly enough, I hadn't thought to post a review previously despite having been pressured by the doctor to post positive reviews on yelp, etc. until I recently saw a friend who was looking for a gastrointerologist. My one recommendation to her was "not Dr Sachar". I also noted today that the majority of poor reviews on Google were answered with accusations of the review being false, threats to report the review and claimed investigators would be contacting the poster. Well, contact away. The truth is my defense.

I would not recommend Dr Sachar as a gastrologist. If you want lip injections, she might be fine… came in with stomach issues and she tried to upsell me about weight loss medication!

Dr sachar helped my husband when he was having a lot of GI issues and discovered the root of problem, he is doing so much better now. Now she is helping me with weight loss. She’s awesome

First time at this office today, and I was truly impressed. From the Dr. and Vanessa who helped me through the process, everyone was stellar. Not only that, they actually seemed liked they really cared about me as a human being. The patience and assertive listening by Vanessa was most impressive. Even further, I was able to get a same day appointment!! One of the best experiences for me in the Healthcare system. I'll recommend this office to everyone I care about. Keep up the good work!!

Dr Sachar is the most caring and compassionate Doctor. I am so lucky to have found a Gastroenterologist who is so thorough and attentive.If it weren’t for her persistence in getting an answer to the reason for my chronic acid reflex, my medical outcome would have looked very different. She goes above and beyond by checking in with me periodically and making sure my screenings and appointments are all up to date, and that I’m always accommodated. She’s a pleasure to visit!

Not only did Dr. Sachar help my wife with her Ulcerative colitis but also found her ovarian mass that was caught early which saved her life- thank you , I cannot say enough how you helped us! The best doctor ever!
