The SUA Bookstore is Sweat-Free
We would like to address the issue of sweatshop use in producing goods:
SUA Bookstore is opposed to any actions by licensee/vendor that would constitute unfair labor practices and/or labor abuse. Accordingly, the SUA Bookstore will use its best efforts to insure that licensees/vendors adhere to proper labor practices, provide safe working conditions, and refrain from hiring persons under such conditions that would compromise the integrity and dignity of the SUA Bookstore, Soka University of America or the reputation of the indicia.
A request for certification is issued to all of the vendors from whom the Bookstore purchases SUA logo merchandise.
