Suburban Dog Training Club is a nonprofit organization offering dog training classes to members and nonmembers at a reasonable cost. Classes are held in our own heated, air-conditioned, fully-matted building in Wyndmoor, PA. We also have a large fully fenced training field where we hold outdoor classes during warm months. Our facility is easily accessible from Philadelphia and the northwest suburbs.
Our classes range from Puppy Kindergarten (for those who want to start their puppies out well-socialized), to Beginner classes (which teach you to train your dog to be a better-behaved pet), to formal competition obedience training at the Novice, Open and Utility levels. We also offer Rally Obedience and Conformation show handling classes. Our Manners and More 1 class prepares dogs and owners to pass the CGC test, and our Manners and More 2 class advances that training, and prepares teams for a myriad of competition venues. We also offer STAR puppy and CGC testing, and have several evaluators at the club. In addition, some of our instructors offer private one-on-one lessons in our facility.
Suburban regularly offers a variety of special focus classes and events to both members and non-members. Special focus class topics include: Intro to Agility, Attention and Handling for the Obedience ring, Heeling, Retrieving, and Therapy Dog prep. Events include our indoor Obedience show-n-gos, outdoor matches, annual awards banquet, winter holiday party and more.
We look forward to helping you train your dog. Please see our website for our full class offerings, and current schedule: http://suburbandogtraining.com/
