I didn't even want to rate this place with a star at all because of how disgusting this place was my first time booking a hotel and bad experience, the smell of this place I could not sleep well I booked it for a week cause I came on business and I had my son and father with me. They didn't clean the room the way they should of they had roaches and u could of seen the bed had bed bugs too. When we got into the room the first night they came to clean the next night and we said we had just came that night the room should of been clean before giving it to us. So we had to stay in the nasty room for the week cause we couldn't get our money back. And the time when we had to leave they kick us out early before the time when the guy we told that we was leaving to get our flight in the afternoon they didn't care if we stay we had to pay them a late fee of $25, we ask them for toilet paper they said they don't have to give us, we had to buy our own stuff. We can't open the door to sit outside for fresh air they told us we had to be inside like we was locked away in a cage. The manger looks rude and her employees too. They have people that living in the rooms the kids be outside playing but yet we can't sit by the door or open the door for fresh air to come in. The carpet is nasty they need news carpet down don't ever walk with out something on your feet. We had to buy sheets to sleep on and we took the comforters that had holds in it from people outing they cigarettes on the sheet. I would never ever ever go back to this hotel are roach motel and I would never tell anyone about it. It's just too nasty!!!
Roach infested. Pics & video will be added soon. Has since been bought, but a 2 month turnaround? I'm not sure they shut down at all. So how can you fix an infestation of that magnitude overnight? The refrigerator had buck shots that they tried to paint over. The carpet is stained so badly that you have to wear shoes at all times. The TV was old. We didn't want to eat or shower there. We booked a multi-night stay, but left with full refund. I'll post pics and video to trip advisor and Google+.
Unbelievable! I checked into this hotel and at first glance of the room, it wasn't bad. After being in here for about an hour I noticed the walls and surfaces are dirty, the toilet barely works, and the carpet is sticky. I left to go to the store and the breezeway smelled like pee, it was gross. When I got back I went to take a shower... NO HOT WATER!!! called the front desk and she said "oh I'll tell matinence tomorrow", I'm like "well I don't want a room with no hot water". She then tells me "well you can get a refund and leave" but that's it and hung up on me. I am livid! I can not wait until business hours come about, because SOMEONE is going to fix this.
Well well let's start off with the smell. My room smelled like straight bleach. I thought let's give it one night see how it goes. My girlfriend and I woke up with bite marks all over our arms and faces from BED BUGS. At that point I was disgusted. Went in the bathroom and roaches were crawling all over the walls. Thank god we only brought in an outfit and left everything else in the car. We were planning on staying 3 weeks but we'd thought to give it a night before we moved in our stuff. As soon as I got out of the bathroom I went right to the front desk and changed the room. The first room the changed me too smelled like dirty clothes and bleach and the room wasn't even prepared. The t.v was half way across the room and the bed was half made up. So she said she'll call me at 12. I went out, and came back and she put me in a room directly on top of the office. WAY BETTER. No bed bugs and no roaches. The room didn't smell like bleach and mold infestation. Only stayed a week and changed my hotel ASAP. It's a run down place and people live permanently in some of the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL.
I would sleep in my car before I ever stayed here again. I got back into Atlanta after a 14 hour drive, and arrived around 9:00 pm. The assistant behind the counter who checked me in took forever! When I commented on that fact, because he apparently charged me the "wrong price" and had to run my card twice, he said, " If you don't want to stay here, go somewhere else!" If I had not been exhausted after my drive, I certainly would have left. The Wifi does not work. The water never gets hot in the shower. The room was full of roaches, and there were multiple drug transactions taking place right outside of my door, which was on the ground floor. I've been doing a search trying to find their corporate office, because I want to send an email. I plan to take this further, this place needs to be closed down, it is unsanitary, and basically a flea bag hotel. I'm sure the owners excuse is- it's cheap, and you get what you pay for, but that's just it- people are PAYING to stay here. Pay a little more and book somewhere else- help put this place out of business.
We went to hear Dr. Charles Stanley preach at First Baptist Atlanta and chose this hotel because it was close to the church. I've never been to Atlanta and don't know anything about the area. This hotel was awful. I asked for non smoking and I believe it was smoking. The ice bucket had cigarette burn holes in it and also the blanket on the bed had cigarette holes burnt in it. No cups to drink from and only one wash clothe, one hand towel and two towels. Just not enough for two people. The carpet was so nasty we left our socks on. We slept in our clothes because the sheets didn't look clean..we also slept on top of the cover. Had we been staying more than one night we would have gone to another hotel. The only reason I gave this a one is because the lady at the desk was nice. Cheap hotel...very cheap. Advise against. I won't stay here again.
This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Yes I understand you pay for what you get but do I honestly have to deal with BED BUGS, ROACHES, RUDE EMPLOYMENT, STRAY SICK CATS, EMPLOYEES who don't even know how to take a payment. I have been here for 1month and have paid 3 different prices. I was automatically assigned to a handicap room but I'm not handicap, I don't have a bath tub just a shower and my window is bolted so no escape route , that's a fire hazard am I right? The management is the worst and I understand people need a place to live while transitioning but save your money guys because this is not the place ! Does not even deserve a star !!!!
Worst experience of my life! I had to move to 3 different rooms due to the horrible odor, roaches and lack of promised amenities such as towels. When asked to be compensated so I can go elsewhere, you're told someone will contact you! Good luck if you choose this place.
I needed to find somewhere to stay last minute and came across this location. I don't recall the Gentleman's name that assisted me but he was AA and he was very pleasant to speak with got me in the room at a great rate. I got lost going there right before it was time to close the office but since I had paid already he assured me he wasn't going anywhere till I got there, he gave me directions and I found my way there once I was there he made sure I found my room noe that's customer service going above and beyond! He even waited on me to see if I liked it and I did the only complaint I'd have to say is that the trash was full and smelled bad but other than that I didn't have any problems my room was cleaned and the bed was ultra comfortable.
really the roaches are a huge problem. You guys have to get it together. Honestly this place is not healthy. I can see this place shutting down in a couple years or so. I am very unhappy. Those at the front desk are nice but the building as a whole is terrible. The roaches are a huge problem not cool!!
