I like the school for the fact that they do not tolerate bullying under no circumstances. But my biggest problem is this school accepting children with IEPIndividual Education Plan and claiming they're equipped to help them but they're not! They are eager to push your child out instead of coming up with a resolution and they failed to make any recommendations. If your child can't keep up for whatever reason there is no place for them in this school. Complete waste time and money if your child has special needs.
Discipline and respect are 2 of the most important aspects when developing a Young man.My son GABRIEL is a 3rd gradé Scholar at SAFG I love the passion and dedication the entire staff at SAFG give To our kids.Is there room for improvement? YES! But as a parent we have to be responsible to bring those sugestión to the school principal for discussion.Could the school be a bit more organized?YES! But again we need to do what I recommended in the previous line. Is about me being and doing a fathers job, That way my son needs to do his job at school.
2nd worse school in Brooklyn. These cowardly bullies are nothing but lazy liars. Unwilling to do any real work. The children there are out of control and the principal is in complete denial! I have sat in my son class only to witness him being bullied. Some staff there are absolutely amazing like Mrs. Moyer Fisher Gabbie ......I could go on, but when the top staff are full of it you don't see a great school. You see a mess. Threatened to call the police everyday on my son for walking out of class. I understand a tantrum, but walking out of class that's crazy to call police for that. These people will go any length to get rid of a child that really needs help. That is sad. But they rally and beg for money saying EVERY CHILD SHOULD BE IN A CHARTER SCHOOL...... man please they are all about getting money NOT providing every child with the proper education. Pushing children out instead of helping them is the name of the game here at SAFG!
Great school...caring educators...very pleased with the level of education given to my child at SAFG
Very good caring n they make sure theirs absolutely No Bullying
