Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. We came here after dinner nearby. I was going to order off of the restaurant menu the restaurant was known for oysters, but my husband convinced me to just be patient and go somewhere instead that was known for desserts. It’s not often that I listen to him, so I’m glad I did here! The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable on their products, and the store was welcoming and clean. I’ll be back several times while I’m here in NOLA this week I’m sure! Their version of hot chocolate is something I’ll dream about for years to come, and the pastries were amazing.
Very cute shop. Beautiful pastries that were very yummy. We enjoyed the coffee, chocolate croissants and banana nut muffins were great.
Sucre has always been my favorite for their array of sparkling delicious desserts and I am so very glad they are back up and running. This location is very cute. Employees are friendly. My friend and I got a coffee and the brulee that was delicious. I will be back when I am in the area again.
If you are in New Orleans and if you want to enjoy a delectable dessert course mostly sweets, then I highly recommend that you take care of your dinner check and walk/Uber straight to this place. You will not be disappointed! We 3 discovered this place through Google search, tried their Seasonal Skillet see pic below, liked everything about them, and returned back for more the next night. I barely had time to get this picture before my wife dug her spoon in. As suspected, this is co-owned by a good pastry chef, and owners’ vision to provide a fabulous dessert experience to their patrons is reflected through their creative offerings, warm ambiance and a 5 service. We will visit here again whenever we are in town. Thank you to the chefs and the owners for helping us find some fabulous desserts in New Orleans.
Secré has always been one of my faves— ever since the location on Conti street. I still often stop to get my sweets. Definitely sweet tooth satisfaction!! There is a variety of sweets + a great ice cream selection. The location on Royal nor Magazine seemingly doesn't accept cash. I went in one day and wasn't aware, the lady behind the counter didn't tell me until I had everything and was about to pay— Talk about inconvenience. I wish they would've had a sign up or let me know before getting to the register. Still love their sweets though.
Great gelatos, cake, and macarons. It did remind of a recent trip to France. The line was a bit odd as we had to fend off people posing like they were looking at the display in order to cut the line. The cashier made eye contact and let me know he saw us. So I can add great service as well. The spoon they gave me was dirty, but the great flavors and service made up for it. So just inspect your cutlery and you will be fine.
Beautiful shop right smack downtown. I guess the location justifies the pricepoint but it's way too expensive for me. $10 desserts, $7.5 muffin, $24 dollars for 8 macarons. Desserts are aesthetically pleasing but really sweet. I do love the way the items are wrapped and presented though. They really do a good job on the packaging. I just had the red velvet cupcake/muffin. It was amazing. Not too sweet. Whip cream/moist cake. LOVE. I might splurge every now and then. So good!
Cute little shop, everything felt so calm and old fashion, it was an excellent experience. I tried a parfait, it was so light and fluffy. It had blueberries on the bottem then a cheesecake center. It was wonderful. I also tried a blackberry and honey macaroon. I had their Lavender London Fog tea. Everything was delicious.
Cute little shop serving tasty pastries, macaroons, gelato, and coffee. The treats we were were all very good. Plenty of seating available. Not the cheapest place around however.
One of the best pastry shops in New Orleans. It’s a must visit when you’re here visiting the City. Macaroons, gelato, specialty treats, coffees and teas. Perfect place to take the kiddos. Excellent service.
