Suffield Ambulatory Walk-in clinic

No one returns calls. Promises to get right back to you and doesn't. Although some in the office genuinely do their jobs, some are extremely rude.

My husband and I have been using Suffield Medical Associates for the past 11 years or so. While we absolutely LOVE Dr. Anastasio, neither of us care very much for the other staff members there. We find them to be extremely rude, uncaring and not always helpful. Unfortunately, despite how much I like Dr. Anastasio as a doctor the only reason I gave a 3 and not lower, I am not sure how much longer I can stay at this office due to the fact that we spend more time dealing with rudeness than we do with the doctor.

I’ve been going to Suffield Medical Associates for about 15yrs, and I love Dr. Diaz. She take excellent care of me as a partner in my healthcare. I’ve seen the other doctors as well, but she’s my PCP. I appreciate that they have an urgent care clinic for when something pops up and I can’t get an appointment. The women working in this office—receptionists, nurses, billing, etc—are skilled and practiced at their jobs. They're pleasant, friendly, and professional. Because I have health issues that require me to see my PCP more than once or twice a year, I can attest to the fact that the wait times are absolutely reasonable. Sometimes it’s quicker, sometimes a bit slower. With waiting room changes due to the pandemic, I’ve never been in the waiting room for more than a couple minutes 2020-2022. So when I go right to my exam room, I expect the usual waiting room wait and the exam room wait. In one room. Which, btw, I love because, um, people. I also understand that my doctor is busy. Anything can come up with another patient, and I’ve been the cause of others waiting as well. I never feel rushed out the door. That’s quality healthcare.

Get your phones fixed. Tried calling twice and each time they couldn't hear me and hung up.

I have been going to this practice for over 20 yrs. Dr. Anastasia and Yuan are top GP's who diagnosed cancer when family members were there for other issues. These doctors save lives and remain in Suffield!! For us!! To allow a cranky receptionist to stop you from their expertise is unwise! Josephine Diaz, P.A., is also brilliant and dedicated. Thanks to this WHOLE practice for providing my extended family with amazing care!

Love this office appointments with open availability open on weekends they are a walk in call ahead and can be seen same day most likely saved my husband from a hospital visit he had walking phenomena and was called in a antibiotic right away DR yuan diagnosed my kidney affection right away and I had no idea blood work right in the office and ekg nurses station are always very nice and I highly recommend them to everyone other than great care you will save money on extra co payments to urgent care center also my primary is dr Anastasio and he really cares about my pain management and well being

Its not you, its not Suff Med Assoc, ITS THE PHARMACY Walg for me, If you have med delay probs its almost always the pharmacy changing their rules on top of the government doing it as well. Dr. Anastasio is excellent and an especially intelligent, efficient, and charming colleague of his Jill, is the worth the price of admission in my opininion and I'v been with them for at 4+ years I believe. I have received nothing but excellence from them and the rest of their crew of Drs. and other personnnel. honorable mention to a few others like Kerri, Carrie - sorry spelling?

Saved my life more than once. Seems to me that people only review when they're angry. I've had outstanding care by all the docs here for many years. Am greatful. Please don't retire on me and I wish you all the best health.

Horrible office. They make you wait an hour after you enter the exam rooms. But if you 10 minutes late they make you reschedule. Send you to ever specialist out there. Was a patient for 20 yrs then they said sorry were dropping you. If your thinking about going here DONT!!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Yuan. He totally misdiagnosed my son as having a middle ear infection when in fact it was swimmers ear. This caused my son 2 days of unnecessary intolerable pain. Once we brought him to his own pediatrician he was quickly diagnosed with swimmers ear. Within 12 hours my son was feeling so much better. My son had told Dr. Yuan that his outer ear hurt but Dr. Yuan was convinced it was not swimmers ear. This is not the first time someone in my family has been misdiagnosed at the practice. We will never go there again.
