I have been bringing my son to LI Speech for 2 years. He has made such great progress. His therapist, Ashley, is amazing. He has also been seen by Olivia and Brenna who are great too! We are so lucky to have found a good fit for him and love watching his confidence grow as he improves his speech and language skills.
Suffolk Center of Stonybrook makes you feel right at home and like a family member! They try to be as flexible as possible, work with you, and have extended hours. We have been here in the past and worked with Katelyn C.and Ashley G. They are friendly, patient, and making learning fun through games and activities. They are very creative, so the little ones don't realize they are actually doing their work. Becoming more aware that a little help would help, I knew who to call again. I am very lucky that both therapists are here and able to have them work with my child. All the therapists are great, it's that we have a relationship already established with the two prior. Thank you for all that you do! I will never second guess this location as a referral. Continue keeping the good work everyone!
The therapist we had was just ok, the girls at the Wantagh office are very nice but not very helpful when it comes to serious things. Billing- awful. Just plain nasty with no attempt to even try and help. Just blaming the customer for everything, back and forth for like 20 minutes trying to figure out why I was charged for something when finally I was told it was for a hearing test done on my son. My son went there for feeding therapy why would he get a hearing test?? Very unprofessional. Asked a supervisor to call me, probably not going to happen. I wouldn’t recommend this place but if you have to- make sure your insurance pays in full cause if you ever have to deal with the billing department you might end up in court ‍
My son's speech and language skills have improved greatly since attending therapy at Suffolk Center for Speech. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the therapists are knowledgeable and kind.
I took my daughter to to Suffolk speech. Her therapists were nice, but the billing department was horrific. They pulled my daughter from her services with no notice and told me that I had to deal with my insurance in order for them to get paid in order to return. I would never recommend someone to go there and I will never go back .
Have had an amazing experience with the speech/feeding therapists. Katelyn has truly been a blessing. She’s worked her magic and within 3/weeks of working my son he’s now experimenting with food on his own, freely picking foods off my plate.
My son’s therapist is extremely attentive and patient with him. She works hard to motivate him and help him grow! I couldn’t be happier with the Suffolk Center for Speech and Myofunctional Therapy.
my son has been attending speech sessions for two years at their east yaphank location. he has had three different speech pathologists in that time and each of them have been so amazing! i cannot say enough about suffolk center of speech! they also handle the insurance issues so efficiently as well! i would highly recommend!
Li Speech is a wonderful place, staff is helpful and friendly. Place is well sanitize bathrooms and waiting areas clean and the therapist are very good answered all my questions and concerns. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
My son has been going to Suffolk center for speech for over 2 years now. The therapists are amazing and give homework and feedback to help our children progress!
