Beautiful salon. Service was a tad bit slow but I went on a Friday late afternoon, so that was expected. My stylist was Karina. I hope I am spelling her name correctly. She did a great job. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely return. Thank you.Services: Blowouts

My hair looked horrible when the first young lady finished I’m guessing she was training. The owner fixed it after I called her over asking her to correct it. I was still charged full price $100+ for a blowout w/deep condition and trim after my service took 4 hours!

Bad experience 0/10. The woman who washed my hair didn’t know what she was doing. I could clearly tell she was new and had no experience with African American hair. When she was shampooing my hair I asked her to scrub scalp and clean hair throughly, she look’s at me and says “No English”. I knew I was in for horrible results after that. The owner never came over & asked if everything was ok. I left with dirty greasy hair.

I have been coming to Sula’s Salon since 2013. I am very particular about my natural hair. She has kept my shiny & healthy… shaved my head bald after cancer. Now my hair is at the middle of my back again. She has always been patient with all my extra demands. The best in the hair business. Before and after pics of my hair journey. Sandra did my hair and the washing process was amazing and excellent. She did put her best in making sure I left a happy customer.

I wish I could give 100 stars. I have been going to this salon for a couple of years. Today, Sula literally saved my hair. In May 2021, I went to Mena’s Dominican Hair Salon only because Sula’s Hair Salon was booked. At Mena’s, they put something in my hair that relaxed it without my knowledge or permission. Sula’s would have never done that. My hair was always healthy with Sula’s. I noticed my hair becoming thinner and more limp after my one and only time at Mena’s. I tried to put it in braids to allow it to revert back to normal, but it never did and when I removed the braids today, all of my hair began to come out except the curly new growth. Frantic, I ran to Sula’s for help and she cut off the damaged hair and gave me a haircut I love. She truly salvaged my hair. Now I am excited about my new cut right in time for spring. Delightful. I have always been a walk-in with no wait and the quality of service has been consistently top tier. I’ve had my extensions washed and straightened and also my natural hair washed, straightened and trimmed. Silky straight and full of volume.

I have been a customer of Sula’s Dominican Hair Salon since 2008. For 14 years the stylists at this salon have done an AMAZING job on my hair. My hair has grown so long and healthy. All of the stylists have been wonderful. From Alexandra to Andreina to Lydia to Sula. They ALL do an AMAZING job and I always look forward to my hair appointments because when I leave the salon my hair is healthy, silky straight and beautiful. I went in for a deep conditioning and blow dry since I was preparing to get my hair braided. The service I received was great! The price was more than I was expecting to pay, but my stylist took her time and did a fantastic job on the blow dry, which came out straighter and silkier than I was expecting. I will be back!
