Dr. Havlik moved to Mattoon, IL at the age of 5 with his family and has been a resident since then. He graduated from Mattoon High school in 1973. He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He than received his Doctorate of Dental Medecine from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1980. He joined Dr. Jerry Hastings in practice in 1980 In Mattoon. He now has convienent locations in both Mattoon and Sullivan.
Dr. Havlik is married and has a grown son. His son Chris, is currently at SIUE dental school looking forward to joining the practice when he completes his degree. His hobbies include watching baseball, playing racquetball, golf and bowling. He is an avid Cub fan.
