Visiting NYC for a long week-end, we went there on Sunday morning. Place is busy but reasonably and we didn’t get any issue to seat indoor or outdoor. Food is diverse and good. The chocolate croissant and the panino San Francisco were very good while the chocolate bomboloni was average. Prices are very decent for New York. The service was good but could have benefited from a little warmer welcome hence the 4/5. Overall a great place for breakfast.
We grabbed a table here for brunch on a Sunday. This place did not disappoint. I was especially impressed by their Eggs Benedict. They also had really good fresh squeezed orange juice as well.
The potato flatbread is very nicely done, just right moist and flavorful. Corn salad is perfect for summer taste. The croissant is not flaky though. It is a nice bakery
Most underrated brunch spot!! I always forget how good this place is. We were here on a Sunday at 10am and though there was a constant stream of people ordering, it wasn’t crowded at all. They have something for everyone - savory and sweet pastries, sandwiches, made to order egg dishes, and coffee. The line goes fast and there’s indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re unsure what to get, try the bombolone, tomato or olive strecci, or the chocolate chunk cookie.
Good coffee and their egg and avocado sandwich is super good. However, avoid the egg bowl. Con: The $9 egg bowl is two eggs and a huge pile of old bread disguised as… croutons? I’m not sure. That’s it that’s all you get. The audacity to put 2 eggs on a bed of old, tasteless, chewy bread for $9 is beyond me! My advice is to get rid of this off the menu or lower the price.
I’ve made several recipes from the cookbook so was excited to stop by in person. There were a lot of great options to choose from! The mortadella sandwich and canotto salato made for a really good lunch at the airport.
They have the best bread in the city. Perfect coffee and lovely bites for lunch or brunch. And you can buy artworks from them to support local artists
Nice and efficient, really small selection of sweet and salty bakery, but other brunch options available. Seatibg area inside and outside. negative: high price. 10$ for a black goffee and a cookie.
Good spot for coffee, breakfast and bread. The service is hit or miss though; the person that helped us was very friendly but then we sat inside at a table for a while and the person that took over the counter was pretty rude to customers. She just looked like she didn't want to be there, wasn't friendly at all and was short with people. Other than that though, excellent food and location.
Try their signature italian doughnuts with jam and vanilla cream filling called Bomboloni. They are awesome. Don't miss it if you are beignet lovers
