Lady at the front desk was horribly rude and a liar. The lady that helped me last time did absolutely everything she could to help and resolve the issue. Lady today even went as far as to tell me if i chased the mail carrier down the they would call the police which is not what i was asking her todo. So be careful who u deal with in sulfursprings.
One part terrible logistical systems, one part lazy workers, and one part poor leadership and management. Sprinkle in poor customer service, let stagnate for a few years, and you've got yourself a Sulphur Springs postal service. Use UPS if you have a choice. These government employees are a joke.
I don't know her name the lady that's work at this location for years really needs to retire very unhelpful, unfriendly and unhappy person.
I can't get anyone on the phone. I have lived in the same spot for 4 years, and the mail man consistently loses my mail. I have lost health benefits for a period of time. I have missed correspondence from the IRS. I have had a paycheck delivered to my front door by the neighbor who found it in his mail box! I will be filing a complaint in person since they don't answer the phone. Edit: we must have just had a bad postal worker, because the one we've had for the last few years has been amazing. We couldn't be happier with her. It is still hard to talk to anyone at the post office, but we appreciate all their hard work.
When going to the post office itself to send a package or do something in the office they have great customer service, friendly staff, and work efficiently. When looking at the Sulphur Springs USPS from the side of mail delivery it is below average. We have lived in several different states and I've never witnessed so much confusion nor have I ever received so many other people's mail. I've also received other people's packages and have had my own go missing. There needs to be more integrity on the delivery side.
They’ve lost my package and have yet to contact me about it nor try’d to locate my package this service is doing a terrible job but what you expect from Sulphur springs postal carrier services.
This is the most inept post office in East Texas!! It is a true reflection of current government and its inability to perform or care for their jobs and responsibilities. How can a post office mis place something when it is handed directly to them? You carry some of the most important documents and papers thru your systems every day and yet consistently drop the ball or we must pay extra to insure you do your job.. Just do your job!
This post office is a JOKE. I had a package coming and they called another person with the exact same name and let her pick it up. They didn't even try to have it delivered to the address that was on there, they just assumed it was hers. And when I called the first time they said it was in the PO Box box because the driver didn't take it to the physical address. So when we checked the PO box and it wasn't in there that is when they said they called the other girl to pick it up.
I have absolutely NO faith in the postal service of the united states...none. i work for a local business and they have lost packages that could never be replaced and act like its no big deal, ive lost MONEY, time, effort, and sanity trying to work with these people. Just today i called up there to ask if a package was there so i could pick it up before it went out on the truck and the lady i got on the phone told me to look at the tracking updates online....apparently she doesnt understand just how janky the tracking system is, i have received my package before and two days later they changed the tracking info...so just walk in the back and look, i mean how lazy can you people be....
I love going to the post office! Darin, Christine, Brad, and Anita are great! I haven't had any issues with receiving the wrong mail, or not receiving my correct mail. There's not a better/faster US post office around.
