I had a mammogram scheduled for 2:40 and a follow-up visit at 3:00 with my PCP in the same building. As I was signing in for my mamo, I noticed that the woman in front of me was 20 minutes early for her appointment. We got there at the same time but she signed in first. Sure enough the woman with the 3 o'clock appointment now had my 2:40 appointment. When my name was called I informed the employee that I had an appointment upstairs at 3 and that the woman ahead of me didn't have an appointment until 3. The employee stated the woman signed in first. I informed the employee that we got here at the same time. Again the employee tells me, "we Summa go by who signs in first. I asked the employee why the sign in sheet asks for appointment time if it doesn't matter. The employee asked me if I wanted her to check me in or not. I asked the employee if she could contact my physician and ask if it's okay to be 20 minutes late for my appointment. Instead, the employee asked me if I wanted her "to go back and tell them to do" me first. At this point the employee is yelling at me. It was clear she didn't care about my dilemma. I'm sure the look on my face wasn't friendly but that did not give her the right to be so unprofessional. I matched the employee's tone and answered, "yes, I want to go first. Her appointment is not until 3!". The employee yells at me again and accuses me of yelling at her. I simply pointed out that I was matching her tone. The employee walked me back to the waiting room and went to ask if I could go first. Another employee came out and explained that she already started with the patient in front of me. The employee asked me to call my physician and see if I could be 20 minutes late for my appointment. While I was on hold this employee tried to tell me that I would have been late anyways because it takes longer than 20 minutes. I asked this employee why the appointments are scheduled 20 minutes apart. Her response was, "there is no guarantee." At 3:05 I was told Summa Imaging was ready for me. My PCP said I had a little time but that it was my call. I would have had plenty of time to make it to my PCP appointment had Summa went by appointments and not first come first serve. My time matters too damn it. I left without getting my mammogram. I tried to go back after my PCP appointment. It was 3:45, and Summa had already shut everything off, and turned me away. Summa Imaging at White Pond sucks! They could careless about their patients. Only they matter and THEIR time matters.
Very long wait to be seen. Had apt. For 12::45. Didn't get Done till 3Pm.
This office is nice. The girls are all sweet and very helpful. Dr. Pfefferle did my knee replacement at summa Barberton, hurt like hell but improving everyday! I think I got the best doc they have, incision is perfect! If I had to suggest anything, maybe to see the doc more. I caught a glimpse of him in the O. R. And saw him at my prior appointments for a minute or two but the guy is very busy and I know they're playing catch up after all this covid business. Alix Melville, the Nurse practitioner, has been there for me since the surgery and has been patient and has explained things well! Sorry for the book, I m just so appreciative to get a new knee and eventually, a new and better quality of life! Thank you everyone!
I have used services at this facility for many years. They have a nice vending and food services and very clean offices restrooms, plenty of parking and are on the bus line. Nice people to work with.
I called to see if I needed an appt. for my chest x-ray and they told me no just to walk in. An hour later I walk in and they have a post it note on the sign in sheet that they aren't doing x-rays today. Summa is the worst
I see Dr. Jeffrey Junko here and he is absolutely the best by far! He's a great surgeon and a great doc!
I have ed. Great place to go to get it fixed for her.
