Attended an introductory clay class. The instructor, Michael, is excellent in his approach to the classes. He teaches you the basics and then turns you loose to create his approach when helping or guiding is the best. You can tell he is an experienced teacher. He shows you how to work the clay by hand and by wheel. I highly recommend trying this place!

Art School KC is a treasure for Lee's Summit! They run some really engaging and quality classes, they have a great space, they care about the people including kids! that stroll through their door. Highly recommended, we have taken numerous classes with them already and will continue to do so.

Art School KC is absolutely fantastic!  My daughter has taken several classes along with attending both summer and winter camps.  It is a good balance of instruction and time to practice, and she appreciated the freedom to work on her own pace.  The teachers are excellent!  So excited Art School KC is now a permanent fixture in downtown Lees Summit!

My daughter attends class here and has a blast every week. Would highly recommend! We're so happy to have this here in LS

Teaching here is such a joy! Wonderful and inviting atmosphere for students of all ages and skill levels. The owners and other teachers are great people: hardworking artists who truly care about the community and have a passion for making and teaching art.

Hands down best part of my fourth Friday art walk. Very chic space for both art classes and exhibitions. Wine and snacks for fourth Friday events.  Highly recommend a visit or taking a painting or pottery class here.

Finally! A place in Downtown Lee's Summit to connect with other artists again! We really lost something special with Got Art Gallery closed downtown. Lee's Summit has a rich and vibrant artist community that needs venues like this to enrich and entertain locals. I think it's a tremendous addition to downtown activities such as Small Business Saturday and of course the monthly art walks. There are classes taught by professionals and programs for established artists on top of gallery space and regular art shows. Please show your support to this non-profit and keep art alive in the heart of Lee's Summit for years to come! I believe in the owners and their commitment. Now it's up to us to back them up. Included is a drawing I did during one of the monthly figure study sessions.

I love the founders! This place has it all. I can’t wait to throw on the wheel here.

A place like this cannot be described with stars!!!! It is filling a need. Thank you.
