Summit Cafe

Truly a gem! If you work nearby, you owe it to yourself to skip Chipotle or Wendy’s on your lunch break and check this place out. I recommend calling them to order ahead of time and they usually will have your food ready within 10-20 mins max. I’ve been eating here for almost 8 years, since I started working in the area. The prices are reasonable and I honestly can’t think of anything bad I’ve had here with the exception of a veggie burger a few years back just not my thing I guess. My favorite is their quesadilla with onions and peppers. They have a great salad bar, their sandwiches and burgers are excellent, and their breakfast sandwiches are worth coming into work a few minutes late to stop and grab one! Try the monster hash too- so good. My favorite sides are the onion rings and tater tots, but they have lots of choices. I primarily work remote these days, but when I do come into the office, I love getting lunch here. Almost makes having to go into the office worth it :

This is a no doubt about it best diner in town. Since I started to go there two years ago Michelle and Adam have already treated me amazing! Food has never disappointed and will always love spending a lunch there!!

All I can say about this place is WOW. The service and atmosphere is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Michelle brightens my day when I get my breakfast. The food is NEXT LEVEL diner food. Get the Andy Sammy special for breakfast. Must stop for anyone traveling to the area looking for a great meal and a great experience.

If you are in the Summit buildings office complex stop here for lunch. There is a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers and salads. Everything is made fresh, while you wait. One of my favorites is the jerk chicken wrap.

If this place had a restaurant that was open all the time in my neighborhood it would shut down all the others. Their burgers are better than everyone else's. 7 bucks and come with fries. Salad bar is fresh. Soups delicious. Breakfast sandwiches awesome. I don't know why this guy doesn't open up outside of a tucked away office building. This is the best place to eat lunch in Independence. And Breakfast!

This place is seriously the hidden gem of independence. If you haven’t tried it you must. They will pretty much let anything you ask them to and it’s always so delicious. The menu is incredibly big and they also always have really good specials.

Summit is a gem... Fair prices for very good food and a great, friendly staff! Our company employees frequent Summit often for breakfast & lunch and we order catered dishes from them for various business events on a regular basis... Never disappointing!

Great little lunch joint. Reasonable prices, good salad bar, tasty regular menu and weekly specials. Highly recommend.

Been coming here for years. Daily, in fact. Always consistent and service is always top notch. Easily my favorite cafe and would recommend to anyone in the area!
