From the minute I walked in until the second I was discharged nurses, doctor and receptionist were all professional and made me feel at ease. No need to go elsewhere for an EKG, x rays or blood work..all done there and waited within a reasonable amount of time. Was seen within minutes! Amazing service and knowledgeable, thank you!
Sun City Emergency on the West side provides high quality care. There has been two occasions were my mom needs attention and the doctors and nurses do an outstanding job. The first time she had a deep laceration on her thumb and the team there did a great job treating her fast. The second time we thought she was having a heart attack and they immediately ran several tests to rule out any emergency situation. Once that was resolved the physicians did a great job at explaining what was going on and how to take care of it unlike other doctors that see you for two minutes and leave. Her nurse was Megan from Austin TX and she truly provided high quality professional care and explained all procedures carefully. They all made sure my mom was comfortable and calm. I recommend this place and will be going back for other emergency situations. Thank you to their team.
Had to go because urgent care was closed. While they didn't charge me 2k upfront, I told them I was worried about something in my eye and the doctor said "I don't see anything, looks like pink eye." Prescribed an antibiotic and left. Went to urgent care today after seeing something in my eye, and they had to refer me to an ophthalmologist because it was now embedded too deep to be removed by hand. Drive a little further to upper valley urgent care, if you can help it. They did much better.
Went in not knowing what was wrong with me, just knew something wasn’t right. All the staff was professional and friendly. They put me at ease and checked on me often. Dr. Sergio Ibarra explained what was going on and took his time with me. He listened to all my symptoms and tested everyone of them. Great staff and great doctor!
The front desk girl is the rudest, most in compassionate person I’ve ever encountered in a medical facility. Does she not realize people don’t feel well when they enter there? I went in with Covid symptoms & requested a mask & she rolled her eyes & said “why” and then still didn’t even get up to get me one.
I was visiting from out of town and I came in feeling very sick with a 102.55 fever I was seen immediately The staff was friendly, professional and courteous I was amazed how thorough they were with my evaluation Not only did they find I had the flu but diagnozed me with a kidney infection and a potentially deadly condition called Sepsis I had never heard of it but they immediately escalated my care even performing a cat scan after testing showed I may have a lung blood clot That wasn't the case but I was still very relieved that they had me feeling a lot better in no time The facilities are awesome I think I used all of them I would definitely highly recommend this ER the doctors here definitely know their business and the most important thing to me was the thoroughness At least in my case this was definitely life saving So if you are from El Paso or just visiting this is the place to go for the best care Thanks to all who partook in my care I am forever indebted to you
Never going back again. Seriously. Before I EVEN MET THE DOCTOR or he had even seen my condition he immediately told the nurse to draw blood and take labs. Only after I requested for the doctor to see me first did he come, half asleep mind you, asking me weird questions about if I’d eaten shellfish or if I’d been to the ocean recently because that could be what’s wrong and the infection could kill me in 48 hours it was cellulitis, which I HAD BEEN TREATED FOR AT THE VERY SAME CLINC BARELY A MONTH AGO! I guess records aren’t a thing? The only good thing was I got prescribed the antibiotics I required, after debating him for an hour about whether to stick me with needles and trying to convince me if he doesn’t I’ll probably die soon. then tried to charge my father and I 650$ as a co pay?! Ridiculous. If I could, I wouldn’t have even left one star
Dr. Bob is a very through and caring physician. Came in after testing positive on a home antigen test. Arrived feeling pretty bad but after several treatments, I'm feeling way better! I definitely will not hesitate to return if I'm ever in need of medical treatment.
I had a great first time experience at Sun City ER. I only waited 25 minutes in the lobby. I filled paperwork and I was inside getting checked out in no more. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The nurses, doctors and the X-ray person; they were all very very nice. They all worked together to help me. Doctor was very thorough and explained everything to me. I was out of there in no time . I will be coming back here. I wish I had known about this place because I have been going to Summit Urgent Care and I’ve had terrible experiences there.
Do not use! Had one visit, lasted maybe 15-20 minutes. Left with some generic Neosporin, and was charged $1,075.00! Insane. If you insist on using this place, ask about pricing before you use this rip off facility.
