Clean space with nice book selections. I haven't had any encounters with library staff to rate them I see some reviews are not favorable....that's unfortunate...they are service providers to our community... It would be great if they could expand their hours. The one negative is the bathroom always smells awful.....serious sewage problem Im guessing...should be attended to.
Yes, I agree with Joss Woman's post. Mean spirited staff especially the gal who just "tried" to help me with a minor request. Employee Justin is nice though. Maybe he's a volunteer. And if the gal who I encountered thought she was nice, why was she afraid to give me her first name? They're two-faced, maybe three.
Good place but one worker tried to say I didn't turn in a book when I did it was found he was lying
RUN! Go to any other branch but stay away from this cast of _Mean Girls_! They are absolutely horrible.... snotty for no damned reason, and the manager is just as bad. We were trying to get help with very minor things--one needed a new library card, a couple needed info on making a copy, and one needed help printing something from the computer. These asinine women were so unbelievable. I will never come to this place again. They all acted as though the interruption by the unwashed masses was just too much for them to bear, like they are so much better than everyone. And then the "manager" walked by the group and said much too loudly for a library setting, "Is there a problem here?" Wow. Way to offer to help a situation, right? Nasty, mean, ignorant employees.... and again, NO REASON FOR IT.
Nice and quiet. Many books and is clean.
Great place good Smart well informed staff willing to teach you basic computer skills. Glad to see the computer's were finally wired to the printer. I felt bad for a few folks that thought the memory stick would remember their information. I would recommend, tell them they won't work. Buy and bring your own. I've witnessed a few transients using the restrooms for drug injections and cleaning themselves up. I'm concerned about the spread/transfer of hep A & C on the keyboard and mouse, not to mention the restrooms. Security seems to be aware. The grounds are clean and clear of homeless. There still is the infestation of religious folk sitting out front and bus stops within reach. Otherwise Sun City Library Rocks. The remodel is awesome with lots of new programs worth a look.
Nice clean library. I like that the children's section can be closed off to help keep it quiet. My one complaint is that people talk on their phones a lot. They don't turn off the ring tone or even step outside to talk. One of the security guards was telling people to step outside and silence their phones. But not all the security guards do that. I understand that you need to talk sometimes to others in the library, but they are so loud. It's really hard to concentrate with all the talking. I end up leaving in frustration. Personally I think it's rude. No reguard for anyone else.
I went here for the first time today, it is a small library and most of the patrons are adults which is quite nice. The murrieta library caters to small kids and this library does too but the kids section is sectioned off so if you need to study you can. The east side of the library has chairs that charge as well as a bar top type area that you can charge on. The only reason it is 4 stars is the restrooms are clean but they need to increase the water pressure, and the chairs on the west side don't have access to power but otherwise the entire library is very clean!
Wonderful, cheerful and helpful staff make for a very positive library experience!
I love this library and I am from out of town. The people are genuine and thoughtful. I always get assistance if I ask. The place is spotless and very easy to maneuver. One of the best I have seen in a while.
