Whyyyyy have I never been here before. Good, clean, fresh chines food. Not all the heavy soy sauce and fillers. This chicken and broccoli is heavenly, I didn't even need the rice but it's good. The pepper steak is tender and you get soooo much. The teriyaki beef is the best we've had. Now the chicken wings and wontons were a little hard for my liking but the chicken tastes good. The wontons, I could do without. Will definitely be back, next time we'll share an entree. This is a lot of food. Everything came out fast and hot.
ordered fried wantons which have ground pork in them and this is what they served me. i tried one and the wasn’t any meat in there. tried another one and there wasn’t any meat in that one. my friend tried one and there wasn’t any meat in that so we stopped eating i mentioned it to the woman and she explained to me it was ground pork. i was aware of that but there wasn’t any meat in the wantons. i told her to cancel my order and she began to talk in their language yelling to her coworkers. then walked back and gave me a receipt for $8.34. i took one sip of ginger ale and they charged me for that. unbelievable! will not be returning. this is my second time here and the first i felt the food was subpar. this restaurant came highly recommended so that is why i tried it. never again! try the other restaurant hunan wok on the corner next to kroger instead.
We came here for lunch for the first time today. This is easily the best Chinese food we've had in the Columbia area. This will definitely be a regular go to spot for us and would highly recommend it. The menu was huge and had a good mix of authentic and Americanized Chinese dishes. The menu also included about 20 lunch specials which were a great value. We had hot oolong tea, Szechuan pork, and Beef Chow Fun. Both were exceptional. The Chow Fun contained the proper noodles and was packed with flavor. The vegetables in the Szechuan pork were extremely fresh. The meat in both dishes were tender and flavorful. The hot and sour soup included with our lunch special was also very good.
Arrived at 6p on a Sunday and they immediately accommodated our party of 7. Everyone got something different and were very pleased! Food was hot, quality, large portions and reasonably priced! First time there and will be back! Vegetarian options: Plenty! Kid-friendliness: I’d take a kid there Parking: Plenty Wheelchair accessibility: Tables were flexible Dietary restrictions: Someone had a sesame allergy so they made hers with vegetable oil.
Excellent Staff . The staff were friendly and provided one of the best service I have had in a Chinese restaurant. It was a party of 6 of us . The restaurant is clean and the set up is OK. They also had a clean bathroom . HOWEVER I did not like the food . Maybe it was just what I ordered. I ordered a sweet and sour platter for myself and wings for my 5 year old . My platter was very salty and when I tasted my baby chicken wings they were also super salty. Two diners who had teriyaki chicken and special house fried rice said the food was ok . The diner who had some lo main did not like it. Another interesting thing I found was that I had to pay separately for white rice. This was something I have never experienced . Again it could be what me ordered. Unfortunately I am not able to recommend this restaurant if you are into taste. I have tasted better Chinese food in a mall restaurant for a fraction of the price. I gave them 3 stars for the staff.
Gotta Love This Place! Google got me here because of the high reviews. And Google nailed it! Thought the food was excellent. Service was equally as good! Came in for lunch today 08-20-21 and honestly not wanting oriental food for lunch. My wife did. But the odor from the food hits you as soon as you walk in. My appetite increased! We were seated by the woman behind the counter, as she was so nice, even joking with me while finding us a seat. No sooner than we sat down, the waiter got our drink orders, and our lunch orders. Super nice guy, very friendly, and made some good recommendations. I have to be honest, sometimes without pictures it's hard to know what you want at an oriental restaurant. But he made a suggestion, and I ordered a side of egg drop soup as well. The soup came first, and isn't the traditional yellow most egg drop soups are. But it was good! So was the shrimp egg roll that was served. My meal came next. Now, I love when hot food is served hot. This hit the mark! It was still steaming hot and so damn good! My only suggestion is to cut the vegetables smaller. But certainly not enough to keep me from coming back!
Great service however, I found shrimp in my plain fried rice, to which I have a subtle allergic reaction to… they could also smile more, since they’re very pricey. Just saying.Food: 3/5
Stopped here on a road trip and portions were very well sized for the price and the taste was beyond great. We ordered the general Tso's tofu and the shrimp fried rice. Both amazing, and highly recommend!! Vegetarian options: Tofu!
The food is usually good; but today it was no where close to being as good. There must be different cooks. The broccoli and shrimp had no sauce, no eggs in the shrimp fried rice and the broccoli was slimy. The people who worked in the kitchen food looked much better than my friend and myself. The quality of the food has gone down considerably. The food didn't look appetizing at all.
Been eating here for 10 years, very consistent Chinese restaurant with a large menu.Food: 4/5
