My wife and I moved into Sunseair almost two years ago and it was about the same time as the most recent Park Manager began her reign here. I have read the reviews from folks who have been treated poorly by her and for that it is just terrible they went through that. That woman is no longer the Manager here and has moved to another mobile home park in the area. The previous maintenance clown is no longer employed either. The new Park Manager is an absolute breath of fresh air for all of us here and we have complete confidence in how she will make this park really nice again and a place that we can all be proud of. There are new maintenance personelle as well as a Community Watch program and weekly community activities. The pool has been updated with a new pool heater, new pool lounges, chairs, table and umbrellas. There is a monthly community pot luck dinner as well. We will have a community that we all love back again and the owner is backing this initiative 110%!!!
Only giving 1 star because I can't go any lower. I was going to purchase a home in this park until I had to deal with the Park Manager who informed me I would have to pay 6 months to 1 years rent in advance because I had just moved to the area and started a new job here. She stated I could lose my job as the reason for paying in advance. I have more cash on hand in the bank than I make in a year so that was NOT A REASONABLE JUSTIFICATION. I think she assessed that I have deep pockets and for no other reason than she could require it she wanted me to pay a year's rent in advance. Not sure if she gets some kind of commission from this. I decided not to purchase here and anyone else thinking of purchasing here - if you ever have to resale - I walked away from a home that was selling for $15k less than then the owner purchased it for because the Park Manager was so UNREASONABLE and RUDE -- keep that in mind, if you ever consider living there. Not sure why the owner was leaving or selling but the Park Manager also told me the water meters needed to be replaced and it would cost me $7k to replace them. I don't think the water meters are the owner's responsibility BUT WHAT KIND OF PARK MANAGER WOULD ACTIVELY INTERFERE WITH A HOME SALE AND ENCOURAGE A POTENTIAL BUYER FROM BUYING THERE -- THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS -- SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED AND THE PARK NEEDS TO REFUND THE LOT RENT FOR EVERY MONTH SHE PREVENTS OWNERS FROM SELLING THEIR MANUFACTURED HOMES THERE. ANY CLASS ACTION ATTORNEYS LOOKING FOR WORK?
Horribly run mobile home park. Guests are not allowed to park outside of their own parents/friends home for an hour or have the risk of being towed. How is one suppose to entertain especially during birthdays and holidays? You DO have the option of parking and walking across the entire park if you would like to see your love ones…there’s only a handful of spots available; what happens if they’re all full? You get towed. The park manager is rudest person I have encountered. Do not live here or buy a home! Buyer beware.
I love it down here in this park. It’s off the beaten path, not close enough to a big main highway to be noisy. It’s easy to get in and out of the park due to low volume of traffic. It’s so quiet and peaceful and that was on of my aims to look for when I bought. The residents are friendly and the management is terrific and extremely helpful. The maintenance man is also friendly and helpful. All the big stores and businesses are close and the beautiful white Sandy beaches are just 7 miles away as is the airport. People couldn’t ask for a better place to spend retirement.
Love this park cause neighbors are friendly, clean, nice clubhouse with pool. Pets fee of $10 a month must be under 30 lbs. All Support Dogs aren't charged. Rent is at a good rate but goes up constantly as so do other parks.
This post was over 2 years ago I've been manager at Sun Seair for over 3 years, I love the people here and will miss so many of you. For those who feel picked on, follow the rules and there won't be a problem. I’ve been gone from Sun Seair, as manager, for 2 years. A lot has changed in the park.
The mobile homes there are old 1970 ticking time bombs. The manager is a drama queen who picks favorites. There are shady dealings going on in this park. The park manager makes her own rules and picks/chooses on who to enforce them upon. The toothless pot smoking grubby maintenance "security" person reads the water meter - NOT the actual water company! A big NO NO! He also doesn't "maintain" the park at all. Dead trees, bushes, plants, clogged sewer drains, etc. Park manager lies, spreads false rumors about tenants, gives out their personal private information, then makes it hard for you to sell your home by denying park approval, probably because you aren't using shady Rider Sales to sell your home, so she can get her cut! WORST park I have EVER lived!!!! They just want to take your home and make your life MISERABLE! The owner doesn't giveva...I lived there for only 3 months! That should tell you something. BEWARE!!!!
Manager is very rude, controlling, makes up her own rules and if she doesn't like you causes grief for those guests.
Sun Seair is a wonderful quite place to live. My husband and I have lived here since March 2017. Becky, new management has been upgrading the park. The old management did not maintain the lawns on a regular schedule and now with Becky the lawns are being maintained on a regular schedule. Starlene Warsheskie
I live here and have for almost 4 years. My wife, Becky is the manager, her and the guys work hard to make the park a pleasant place to live. Can't please everybody but they try.
