Sun Valley Barn

Highly recommend Sun Valley Barn and Angie's team! She was very easy to communicate with and was able to answer every question we had along the way. Angie responded within a reasonable time. Although there are quite a few restrictions in the contract, it doesn't restrict you from having a good time and from having a beautiful wedding! Couldn't have asked for a better space to seat all of our family and friends on our special day. We've already recommended Sun Valley Barn to some of our friends and will be back in April!

We could not recommend Sun Valley Barn more for a wedding/event venue! We had our August 2022 wedding here and Angie and her team did an amazing job. They are very knowledgable about all aspects of the wedding world. The planning tool they use is so helpful in thinking through the tiny details of the day. The bridal suite and grooms room are so handy to have access to all evening long. The barn is absolutely beautiful and so well run. Thank you for everything Angie and team!

Not sure why we wasted time looking at other places after touring Sun Valley, we did, and couldn't wait to get back to Angie to confirm our date. This venue had everything that they wanted for their special day. The venue, itself, is beautiful!! The bridal suite is large and comfortable, with a private bathroom and a coded locking entrance door. The grooms room is great for the guys! The loft is very cool with a great view of the main floor, the railing has a tilted top, making leaning against it comfortable. It is decorated so beautifully that we only had a few of our own to add besides the table decorations. The guest bathrooms are large, which means, your guest won't miss much because of "waiting in the bathroom line". Angie was always available for questions or help if needed. Sun Valley felt warm and inviting to us and our guests, many of them commented how beautiful it was. My daughter and her husband choose to have the ceremony inside, never outguess the weather, the sliding doors were closed after the wedding party came in and then opened to reveal the beautiful bride!! Breathtaking........I can't stress enough how wonderful this place is and Angie and her team are making it run flawlessly. We hosted our daughter's wedding reception at Sun Valley Barn on December 22, 22 in the middle of a literal blizzard. Angie was so wonderful and helpful through all of our worries and concerns! She and her workers were helpful and considerate as we set up and prepared. Her beautiful barn was perfect for our celebration.

The Well in Pella hosted our 2022 Imagine Gala at Sun Valley Barn and were so incredibly grateful to hold it in such a beautiful venue in town! Angie was lovely and accommodating to the schedules of our planning team, as we met in the space several times up until our event was held. We were able to make our design vision come to life in this space. We worked with a violinist and the sound in the venue was incredible. We would highly recommend hosting your event in beautiful Sun Valley Barn in Pella, Iowa!

We just had our wedding at Sun Valley Barn in September and we couldn’t have chose a better place. We had our date book a little less than a year in advanced and throughout the whole planning process Angie was a dream to work with. If I ever had a question she was right there with a quick answer and multiple suggestions! I had so many people ask how new the venue was because of how clean it looked and smelled. Set up and tear down was a breeze with help from my family/friends and at the end of the night Angie’s team! The barn is set up so beautifully that you truly don’t have to do much decorating other than the tables which is something I wanted in a venue. We highly recommend sun valley barn!

We loved having our wedding reception at Sun Valley Barn. It was beautiful, spacious and accommodating. Anytime we reached out to the staff, we got a response within a day or so - they were very responsive the week of the wedding. Our goal was to find a venue that didn't need a ton of added decor to make it look great and Sun Valley Barn did that perfectly. Our florist and decorator were able to get into the venue the morning of our wedding and make it look absolutely stunning. Another thing we loved about the venue was how private and tucked away it was. There was plenty of room for parking for our guests, it was very accessible for people who needed it to be. Overall, Sun Valley Barn was the perfect place for our Pella wedding.

Beautiful venue. It was perfect for our NYE Wedding. The barn has a lot of rules that restricted me from doing some of the things I would have liked with/in the space. Recommend hiring a day of coordinator that can help with communication.

I can not say better things about Sun Valley and Angie! As a very meticulous bride, she was always great about being kind and available to answer my many questions. Even from the first showing of the space, through the follow up after our wedding, we felt wanted and respected. I love how he website is upfront about pricing and dates; it makes the selection process SO much easier!

Sun Valley Barn was such an amazing venue for our smaller wedding. We had 80 guests and it was a very comfortable space. We used the outside space as some games and hang out in between our ceremony and reception and people loved to go out and enjoy the weather outside. The owner Angie was such a blessing and was really easy to work with. The building was beautiful and the only decorations I had were centerpieces and guest signing. Someone from the staff was there during the night to help where help was needed. The venue was a great piece to our wedding puzzle. Thank you Sun Valley Barn!
