Penney is not only a wonderful trainer but a wonderful person as well. She is very patient not only with the dogs in training but with the handlers training with their dogs that really seem to need it the most. The dogs pick up what Penney is teaching them like a dog whisper but the handlers need a lot more training but she is very very patient with all of us. I highly recommend her to everyone looking for a trainer with that special touch.
This establishment wouldn't even respond to my email asking for more information. I suspect it's because I added a brief description of my dogs, who are 6 1/2 years old and about 100 lbs each I have 2 malamute x setter mixes and said I was interested in getting them better socialized. If they had responded, they would have found out they are very friendly and the biggest problem is they want to drag me across the street to say hello to other dogs. They don't actually drag me,but are strong enough to. They tug and pull then give up, which makes people think they are agressive and is very embarrassing to walk them in public. I will be checking out other trainers in hopes of finding one that isn't afraid of big dogs and who has enough courtesy to at least respond.
They have a wide variety of fun classes and plenty of parking next to the indoor very well kept barn facility.
