I have been with this bank since I moved to Florida. I used to be extremely happy with them, but as of late, I feel that I am becoming less satisfied and considering switching. I do really like that whenever they see a transaction that is not typical for you, they call you to verify it from there fraud department. I think this is really proactive and really great. I do feel that the money is secure with this bank and that’s why I have stayed. However, it’s very frustrating that all of the hours are listed on the door and they say they are open until a certain time on Saturday, but when you go there, they are closed. I need to get a new card and I can’t go there today. My only options are to go Monday through Friday , or wait the 7 to 10 business days to get card in the mail. I work from 7 AM until 6 PM Monday through Friday. So now I’m either forced to wait for 10 days, or I’m going to have to take time off work just to get a new debit card. My existing card has been shut off from fraud protection. This is not very customer friendly. I also don’t like how difficult they make it when you want to add someone to your account. A few years ago after I got married, we attempted to add my husband to the account and it was a whole ordeal, so we opted not to do it. Also, another time I needed to get out a large amount of money, and again it was on a Saturday and the branch was not open, and so they originally told me I was gonna have to drive to a branch that was like 30 minutes away, but I had to do it on Monday. When it up getting it resolved in the end, but it was crazy… Like it’s my money, how can I not get it out? On the other hand, I do like the tellers, and they are very pleasant.
Once again, this so-called credit Union screws up. I get a call 2 weeks ago that someone made a purchase using my credit card. They canceled my card and said they would send a new one. Here I am 2 weeks later still waiting. I call customer service today and they said it takes 15-20 days to get a new card. Are you freaking kidding me!!!!! That’s outrageous!!!! Then I mentioned that when I opened the account they printed it off right then and there. She told me to go to the branch. Now my question is, why wasn’t I told that by the 1st person I spoke to? Making someone wait 15-20 days is outrageous!! This is after finding out that you can’t withdraw more than $200 a day within the 1st 6 months of opening the account, my money so I should be able to take out what I need. And let’s not forget the 10 days hold on deposited checks. YOU ARE NOT A CREIT UNION. YOU ARE A BANK!! Credit Unions work for the members. You guys work for corporate.
I have been going to the North Fort Myers office and I am very pleased with the entire staff. I do have an extra comment to add, and that is about Cherise Delgado. She is awesome! If i have a question or problem, she assists and explains what to do. She is very knowledgeable and patient. There should be more like her!!
While we love our hometown credit union, we are very frustrated with how misleading the “hours of operation” are at each branch. For example, the North Fort Myers branch shows open until 1:00 pm on Saturdays but the only thing open are the ATMs which doesn’t help when we need to meet with a customer service rep in person for our banking needs We hope Suncoast will consider differentiating it somehow on the website and google business listings for their members.
Kelly and Jade were amazing, delivered great customer service and got me in and out in no time. Definitely recommend coming to the branch and talk to them to handle your problems.

They’ve gotten bigger and bigger the past decade, and are starting to resemble more of a big bank. I don’t recommend their credit card services; low rates, but subpar customer service. Try and call the visa stolen/lost card line right now - you’ll see what I mean. They’re starting to 3rd party out some of their customer support and it’s awful no one on the lost/replace line speaks proper English. Maybe American Express has just spoiled me, but I prefer to handle any issues with one person acting as a liaison not playing telephone tag with multiple companies.

My 77 year old mom has been trying to change a auto payment from one account to another since May. This now September, still no resolution!! This customer service is terrible ! Here were are September 14 and hopefully we get this done right !!
Very happy with the service at this location. Darlene Pawlowski always give our business top service. Highly recommended
