Sundance Inn

This is not a place to put your loved one in . It’s short staffed , didn’t give baths , they do not check if patient needs to be changed . They do not want to send you to outside doctors due to company having pay out of pocket , they rather you stay and wait till your discharge to see a doctor, from my personal experience and having stayed everyday and night with my mom I would never recommend this place . The only good thing was I was allowed to stay with my mom. Do your research before you put your loved one in here .

I was there for 1 month after total knee replacement surgery. The physical therapy department is OUTSTANDING. All therapists are skilled, friendly and so encouraging. Their nurses and housekeeping staff are the Best. I highly recommend this facility.

Short handed. Put a catheter in my father-in-law because they did not want to deal with him. Nothing placed in any of the notes. Poor care. Argued with me they were not gonna release him when I told them I was gonna take him out. She. I went to get him the nurse told me to take him. No one walked him out or took him out in a wheel chair. Never again!!!

My mother has been at Sundance for a month for a broken pelvis. She has been happy with all the staff and her physical therapists. They are attentive and always willing to help or answer questions. Physical therapy went extremely well and one of the male nurses even combed her hair for her. The family is always welcome and encouraged to be involved. She also said the food was always very good. The staff is helpful with the family and will set you up with what is needed after release, like home health and supplies needed for mobility.

My mother was here for 3 weeks recently. The staff was as kind and caring as any family member could ask. I was very impressed with their knowledge and bedside manners. In addition, no matter our request, they were willing to go out of their way to fulfill it! They made our mother feel like she was the most important patient/guest on a daily basis. Thanks to all who work here. You are very special!

My grandmother was recently here for a couple of weeks following a hospital stay, prior to returning back to her assisted living. I am a rehab director and speech therapist at a skilled nursing center like this one- and I have to say how impressed I am with the quality of care, compassion, and effort shown to my grandma in order to aid her in her rehabilitation. Not only were the therapists exceptional, but the nursing care was wonderful. It is hard to feel comfortable sending a family member to a SNF when you know the ins and outs yourself, but should she need rehab again, I can confidently say I trust Sundance with her care. Thanks to everyone who showed her such exceptional care, it didn’t go unnoticed.

My neighbor had quadruple bypass surgery and needed rehab. He stayed at Sundance while doing his rehab and had such a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely attentive, the facility is beautifully renovated, and the therapists really do a great job with the rehab program. He is now back home and doing so well. He loved his stay there.

My mom, after having multiple strokes has been through a few rehabilitation/assisted living locations over the last year none of which compared to Sundance. She loved the staff so much and her mobility and ability to care for herself improved so much in the 3 weeks she was with them. We’ve had such bad experiences with places like this in the past so I had to leave a review so others might feel comfortable sending their loved one to this facility.

If I could give this place no stars I would! My uncle was just in this facility for only 10 days and had to be rushed back to the hospital due to sever dehydration and malnutrition! If you are not there basically 24/7 with your loved one, they will just drug the patient up to not have to deal with them. Family and I walked in to see my uncle and he had no use of his arms and hands, his call button was no where near him when he needed it! He also had no access to water! He was so de-hydrated that his mouth was so dry he couldn’t even swallow! The director of this place could only apologize once we blew up on him! Every time we called to check in they would tell us he was fine. Once he got to the hospital today 10.6.22 the Dr was in shock on how bad he got in such a short amount of time. My family and I will be reporting this facility to the medical board and we informed the Dr’s at the hospital where he came from. If any physician or hospital EVER refers anyone to this rehab facility I highly recommend you look else where and do your research. All these places on want the money that is being paid to them and could careless about human life!

Place was horrible. My grandmother was rarely bathed. Left in bed for many hours after asking to get up. Got many of sores from pure neglect. We would push the call light and no one would come for up to 30 minutes. She had a medical emergency that was simply ignored by the nurse on staff until Monday morning when it happened on a Saturday. I could go on for awhile but simply put I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in there.
