I was looking for a park with playground equipment for my daughter to play on and they have taken down all the kids playground equipment. Rather than maintaining some good parks, they are slowly tearing them down.
The park is overall decent, although needs maintenance. The kids section especially. I would visit again only for the basketball court. Baseball court is in good condition as well.
The park has been updated and it looks allot nicer. It's been around since I was a child. Many locals frequent the park for picnics and get togethers. Great shade.
Love the new updated features by the city. New side walk. 2 new hits for relaxation from the sun. Basketball courts always a favorite too. New mulch and clean area for kids. Not the best surrounding area, as homeless populate the surrounding areas where families come to picnic and host family functions and things of the like!
Best park ever. Been going here at Sunland park since I was 14 and I'm now 26
The renovation of the park was much needed and now it is so much nicer. My son likes to play basketball with friends here.
Has lots of potential! However did not feel safe to let my children play there. Broken glass and beer bottles laying around
During my visit I saw more drug deals then children. The upside was that I did see a couple in a nice Escalade bring in lunch for the homeless.
Another great place.great place for kids to be to stay focused and learn positive things
