Beautiful and healthy plants. I checked for pests on a lot of plants and found zero issues. Yes, I'm that person. A TON of variety, I was really impressed. A bit on the expensive side,but everything is labeled so well, and the signage is informative and allows shopping for new plants so much easier. I was only planning on buying one plant and ended up getting five!
I wanted to leave some positive feedback from a recent visit. My husband and I came to Sunnyside for new plants for our garden. We asked Toni a question about locating a certain plant and it blossomed pun intended into a great conversation about what plants would/would not work in our garden based on sun exposure, spacing, and aesthetics. She even helped select plants based on our vision of the garden and layout. She was absolutely incredible to speak with and couldn’t have more helpful or friendly. I hope this feedback reaches her manager or supervisor because she deserves some recognition.
I am new to housing and nurturing any plants; literally and in middle age! I drove past Sunnyside for most my life, loving the stacks of colored pots in their outdoor offerings. Feeling insecure about my own gardening abilities, I typically just browsed the store to experience all the beauty. !TODAY I PURCHASED! with the help of the amazing 'Toni' who was gracious, knowledgable, and possesses a great eye for beauty, aesthetics. I feel so pleased my maiden purchase was with Sunnyside Gardens; the memories continue!
Lovely garden with so many plants to choose from. Place is very clean and well kept. Plants are all living their best lives there. Will definitely be back soon!
I had a good experience here. I have been going to garden stores in the cities looking for native perennials. I found a well-labeled and versatile collection here compared to others in the metro. Red columbine, bee balm, joe pye weed, prairie clover, aster, mayapple, milkweed, and more. Would love to see even more options for natives.
Some of the best plant selection I have seen, with an AMAZING succulent and indoor tropical house plant selection too. Great prices on some incredible plants, and tons of stuff I have not seen anywhere else.
Wonderful little spot with lots of lovely pots & a wide variety of plants. The staff was so friendly and seemed happy to be there, helping people. It's just a bit expensive, but worth it to support a local business.
This place is amazing! I love the huge selection of flowers, succulents and indoor plants they carry and the staff is always SO nice. Definitely recommend this place to buy your indoor plants.
With an affinity for building vivariums and a penchant for rare and exotic plants, this is is my number one favorite plant place in the twin cities! I am in LOVE with the cryptanthus I just picked up from them, its black and hot pink and its going to look AMAZING in the dart frog tank Im building :D
