This place is currently owned by Hmong people and it is open. I visited for my aunt's funeral over the weekend and had to Google directions to the place. Neat that they offer a fully equipped kitchen to go with the use of the event room. The bathrooms were clean.
Could use alil tlc but the best one so far in Fresno CA for funerals
It's has a great yard for party. It looks so beautiful and relaxing at night with the lights.
It is more expensive than the local GB3 but boy it's worth it. Much less crowded and much cleaner. A pool without a bunch of kids in the summer. Great tennis courts with a ball machine. Awesome environment and great trainers.
Can't speak for the facilities, but they also do catering, and this is a warning not to use their catering services. The owner was unprepared for our arranged meeting. We verbally agreed to book them for a wedding and were given a rough verbal quote. We agreed to send an email list of exactly what we needed and would get back a final quote, pay the deposit and officially book them. After a full month of no contact we received a text message saying "I have decided not to cater your wedding" and that was it. Now the deadline is approaching and we're out searching again. An astounding lack of professionalism from someone who claims to have been in the business for 20 years with so many satisfied customers.
Place is small. Their food is horrible!!! And so are their servings, food has no taste, I'm not sure of his name but after he serves a very tiny piece of chicken or uncooked beef in your plate he asks "Is that enough" . The old white man and Asian lady seem rude and clean up when people are still sitting down in their tables eating. The white old man also messes with the cake that they didn't pay for or provide. The cake from the party I attended had shells made out of fine chocolate and he was taking them off like if it was his business. Do not recommend this place especially if you are Hispanic. Also the bartender had no blender. Might as well have the party in your own back yard and hire a real bartender!
I've been a member for over 3 years. I use the club primarily for tennis. Mike and Jodi and their staff are always available and courteous. Facilities are comfortable and clean. It's my favorite place in Sunnyside.
The facility met our needs. The only downside is that there is no kitchen available to keep food warm. On the other hand, the outdoor space is very nice if you have permission to access the area.
Bigots who have openly admitted to running a CONCENTRATION CAMP are apparently welcome at this establishment. Disgraced former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is scheduled to appear here at an up-to $1,500 a plate Fresno GOP fundraising event on September 29th. A survivor of the tent jail Arpaio himself described as a concentration camp shares his experience in The Washington Post: "The rules of the tent city were strict, arbitrary and brutally enforced. There are no newspapers allowed; Arpaio hated newspapers. The only food allowed for those of us in the work furlough program was the food in the vending machines, which was grossly overpriced. During the sweltering summer, the temperature could reach 115 or 120 degrees. I was in the tents when we hit 120. It was impossible to stay cool in the oppressive heat. Everyone would strip down to their underwear. There was no cold water, only water from vending machines; and eventually, the machines would run out. People would faint; some had heatstroke. That summer, ambulances came about three times. One man died in his bed." These are only a few of the atrocities committed by Joe Arpaio, search his name if you doubt this. Would you allow a man such as this to enter your home or business? I would hope not. The Fresno business community must not allow their operations to be co-opted by this evil man.
We had our end of the year dinner here and it was an great venue. Good food and everything was nice. The staff was real friendly.
