Quiet and simple full service campground for rv and tents. It's owned and ran by a super nice couple who have went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. My husband, myself, our sons and dogs are all enjoying our stay here. Clean showers and bathrooms available for use as well. At the end of this season they are going to long term camping only so come visit here while you still can.
Awesome campground! Close to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Owners are absolutely wonderful & will go out of their way for campers! Paved road as well as a gravel road once in the campground. Private & peaceful, rural setting, couldn't ask for a better place!
The primitive tent sites are spacious and spaced out, which was very nice. Very close to waterfalls. Owner really makes it a priority to get to know guests and wants to make sure your stay is good. This is a dry campground, and they specifically say "we are very strict about this" in their rules. I would give them 5 stars if they made a couple of changes. 1 change the alcohol policy to prohibit drunken behavior, not the drinks themselves most people are responsible enough to control themselves, give them the chance, 2 give the single-toilet men's room a real door instead of a stall door between the bathroom and office. Awkward! The women's room has a normal door. 3 better way to enforce quiet hours to make sure 2am radios aren't blasting. That happened during our stay, but fortunately we were very far away from them. Maybe a permanent camp host could help. I didn't want to call the owner so late & had no service to call. But in general, I'd recommend it for low-cost camping.
This was a nice and quiet campground. Fall Creek Falls SP is right down the road. The owners are very nice and will help you with anything you need.
I agree with Ben's post as well previously posted. I stayed about a month ago. Fall creek Falls is about 6 minutes away. The owners are very nice and accommodate your stay. If im not mistaken, this year will be their last open, so book while you can!
One our way down here to visit fall Creek falls called the original place we where supposed to camp at they said they where all full. So found this place, lady said she was just bout to leave for the night before I called she figured out where I was at, gave me directions to the camp ground and stayed late until I got there I was 45min out when I called. Very nice lady so glad she went out of her way to help us and the camp grounds give you that real camping feel with electric hook ups. Very nice and peaceful. And still very close to Fall Creek Falls .
Small inexpensive campground that was exactly what we needed! Basic campground with no frills besides those provided by nature. Super nice couple that runs it. Closing in September though. Wish they could stay open forever! Loved our stay!
This place is a big 0! From the moment we pulled onto the property it was a creepy feeling. The sites aren’t marked, there may be 3 sites in this field. Next to 2 permanent campers. Markings and dirt road horrible, almost lost the camper as the road was washed out. The Deliverance movie had nothing on this place! Cult feeling. I refuse to let anyone go through the trauma it caused me if I can help it! Never stayed and charged me regardless. Ripoff you are, you call yourself a preacher??!!!!
Ok place if it doesn't pour down rain, if you are on top of the hill, and you just need a place to set up a tent to sleep. Primitive as it gets for camping, however, it has showers and bathrooms men's bathroom has a stall, not much privacy, is in earshot of the front desk, with no fan or spray. Not really the best, needs improvement, considering it was $19 per night! The best part was that it was close to Fall Creek Falls SP.
Nice quite campsites that are for the families who really want to get unplugged from the world and be with nature in a more simple environment. There are campsites with power accessibilities and sites that actually are nothing but a spot to put a tent and be one with nature, ideally what camping is meant to be.
