Sunrise Family Restaurant

Sunrise was a great breakfast spot. We arrived at 11 am on a Sunday and it was packed. But we got right in. There were 5 of us and we were all pleased. The waitress was friendly and efficient. She had an electronic device when taking orders. Although it was very busy, our food was ready in a short time. I ordered sunrise potatoes which are loaded hashbrowns that were great! I also ordered pecan pancakes. They were regular pancakes with pecans in them. I was hoping for additional spices. But they were fresh and the pancakes recipe they use is good. I look forward to visiting soon.

Stopped in here for breakfast. We were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive. We both ordered omelets and we shared an order of American fries. It all was hot and plentiful. We will return here for another breakfast someday.Food: 5/5

This is one of those places you go to once because you're driving through and think "Can't go wrong with a simple family restaurant". My advice would be just keep driving and find something else. The food was passable but they may have the worst coleslaw in Wisconsin. Service was slow even though the restaurant didn't appear busy. The only times we talked to our server was when they took our order and when we got our food. No drink refills or checking to make sure everything was good. Ultimately even if I lived in the area I wouldn't go back.

Just standard dinner fair, nothing bad but nothing stand out. I had the french dip and swiss and it was alright. They have good salads and the chicken noddle soup was pretty good.Food: 3/5

Very friendly and attentive staff. Had their Seafood Platter. It was fantastic!! The Coconut Cream pie was delicious!Highly recommend!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!!!Food: 5/5

One of my favorite places to eat. Great food great prices and great service. They treat you like they truly appreciate your business. Great dining experience each and every time. What more can you ask

Stopped here at the suggestion of an acquaintance and glad we did my buddy had breakfast and I had lunch as both were available and I believe just about everything on menu is available all the time. It was busy and I now see why but we got a booth after a couple minutes just had to wait while they cleared the table and cleaned it. Our server got our drinks and water right away and gave us time to check out the menu. She came after a couple minutes and we ordered I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and my buddy got a bacon and cheese omelet with hash browns and whole wheat toast. Our orders were brought to the table in good time and they were both nice and hot and excellent. I will definitely be back again Sunrise Family Restaurant has been added to my favorites list.

My first time here ever. Will be the last time. We were a party of 3 for lunch. Chicken salad on a croissant and tuna salad on a croissant both with soup. A Ruben melt with soup and an order of fries. One bowl of soup had it spilled all over the plate. Maybe a handful of fries for $2 XTRA. Chicken and tuna salad was AWFUL! Ruben was one of the worst I've ever had, more kraut than meat and dressing on the side! What a joke. Waitress was no good either. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Sunrise has the friendliest staff and the food is always delicious. My family was in town this week and I made sure to bring them in for breakfast. Probably my favorite breakfast in the Madison area!Recommended dishesPancakes
