Worst nail salon experience of my life. I will try to be concise. -I made an appointment for 6:00 and they were not ready for me until 6:30. -The woman gave us a "booklet" of nail colours to choose from. I prefer going to the nail polish wall so I can test some colours, but I just chose from the book she gave. -I had to say over a dozen times that all I wanted was a normal manicure. The man kept asking how long I wanted the nails, etc, and I kept saying "I don't want acrylics! I just want a normal manicure!" -He filed my nails down quite short. They are much shorter than I like them. -He was going to use a drill on my cuticles. I told him that I had never had anyone do that to me and I wasn't comfortable with that. He started arguing with me and implying that he was going to do it anyway. I had to very firmly say "No. Do NOT use that on me" multiple times. -When trimming my cuticles, he cut me and made me bleed four times/on four of my fingers. -He was extremely impatient with me, like yelling at me to hold still and yelling at me for not resting my hand down in the drying machine I had been hovering it. He never said what to do. Despite being impatient with me, he worked rather slowly himself. It was one of the longest manicures I've ever had. -Worst of all, when it finally finished, he said "That will be $35." I was aghast. The normal manicure was $15. He said he gave me the gel manicure. I said that I had told him over and over that I just wanted the normal manicure. He then started to argue with me that the normal manicure chips after four days so this one is much better and I said that was ridiculous and he should not have given it to me. I already had a $20 bill out so he said he would just take that and said goodbye. Overall, the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I will absolutely never return and I strongly advise no one else does either. He was very difficult to understand and clearly he wasn't understanding me either, that or he was choosing not to honour my requests. Horrendous. I'd give 0 stars if I could. The only good thing I can say is that I like the colour.

David aka Superman did An amazing job! I just moved from gb to fox valley and this is now my go to! I bought gift cards for my mom and mother in law! Pedicures polish gel lasted over 6 weeks but I had to make a new appt for maintenance!!Services: French manicures

This was my first and last visit at Sunrise Nails. My appointment began pretty smooth as I picked out my color. Then the nail tech cut my nails shorter than I would have wanted but it was already cut when she asked me so I didn’t have a choice to go any longer at this point. Then she began buffing and filing my nails very quickly and the electric file started to heat up and hurt through my nails. She even made 3 of my cuticles bleed and didn’t let me wash my hands so I could disinfect them. The color was good until she messed up my thumb and had to have a different nail tech finish it. When I was paying I gave her a $10 and I asked for $5 back and she handed me $4 and said it was all the only cash she could give back and shooed me away. Overall it was really hard to communicate what I wanted and was left unsatisfied with my nails. I would only go here if you are desperate to get your nails done and no other good salons are open, which was what I had to do today.

I could literally get a better job done by my little brother for free and I would have saved my $35
