Dr. Foster is the best Dr. I think I’ve ever been to. From the team at the front, nurses and himself, the whole experience has been great. I’ve been twice now and I appreciate the time he spent with me. Never rushed me, answered my questions in depth, created a solid treatment plan and was kind. It’s so hard to find a Dr. let alone someone who cares and takes time. If you’re looking for an amazing Dr. be sure to visit this office. Very knowledgeable and listens.
I have been searching for a new urgent care and general Doctor and I am very happy and impressed with Dr. Foster and everyone at Sunset walk-in health care! He actually listens to you and takes time out to explain everything that is going on with you and your test results. The nurses are polite and sweet and I love all the art on the walls. I would suggest calling to make an appointment so I don’t have to wait, but overall 5 stars!
I wasn't feeling well last week and my regular doctor didn't have any open appointments for a weeks time. I knew I couldn't wait a week and didn't want to go sit in an emergency room for hours on end waiting to be seen. A friend of mine suggested I check out Sunset Walk-In, he said he has always had a good experience and can usually get in and out in a decent amount of time. I was skeptical because I mean really how often can you get in and out of a urgent care center in a decent amount of time especially as a walk in without an appointment? I was so wrong! Not only did I get in to see the doctor in record time all the employees were very nice and accommodating. Dr. Foster was amazing he took the time to listen to me. I could really tell that he loves what he does. I was feeling better the next day which was before I could even get in to see my regular doctor. I will come back for sure and I will recommend Sunset Walk in clinic to all my friends and family.
I was so pleased with my first visit with Dr. Foster that i returned a few months later to see him as my regular, private doctor, which he is now. Dr. Foster is a very concerned, caring doctor. He is very patient and a great listener. I could tell he really cared about what i had to say. He knew exactly what i needed and the prescription i got had me feeling better right away. I told his assistsant that i felt treated like a VIP - Dr. Foster said they treat every patient like a VIP. WOW, what a rare and wonderful clinic for the neighborhood.
Booked an initial appointment to see Dr John Foster. After 2 hours of patiently waiting mind you I'm fasting for blood work I get situated for my urine samples, eye exams, etc. Low and behold a PA walks in to see me and I'm immediately inform him I was scheduled to see Dr Foster whom I researched hours upon hours. Dr Foster was present and still refused to see me, given the former reviews of how he cares for his patients this is definitely an indication to stay far away from any service provided by Sunset walk-in. A waste of time energy and money is not what's supposed to happen at a healthcare provider. It's supposed to be attention to detail, love, and care!
The Sunset Walk-In Clinic is bar far, the best Health Care experience I have ever had! Dr. John and Dr. Amanda create a professional yet comfortable environment for their patients that is honestly unheard of, especially in Los Angeles. I have had appointments with both Doctors and have always felt heard and understood. I have never seen bed side manner, professionalism and expertise of this caliber from healthcare professionals. At other clinics I feel rushed and pushed through, but at this clinic I always feel comfortable and taken care of by Doctors who really care... I have finally found my forever Doctors! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this clinic!!!
Its a shame I cant give this place negative stars...I went to Sunset Walk-in Clinic in late January and got some blood work done and made a fallow up appointment for a month later. I decided to cancel the follow up appointment after emailing Dr. Foster because it was not needed. I waited several days for the lab results and heard nothing so I called the office and talked a woman named Lisa. Lisa said the lab results where probable ready but Dr. Foster was not available and I would have to keep calling back...She should have had the doctor call me with the results! I then email the doctor and the results where uploaded to the online "portal" with no interpretation from Dr. Foster. I'm not a doctor, I didn't go to medical school...I am not qualified to interpret blood work charts. 2 and a half months go by and Lisa called me wanting the deductible to which I angrily explained why they have not received their money. I hesitantly agreed to pay for the office visit and ended the call with "am I going to get my labs explained to me by the doctor...2 1/2 months later I might add?" Lisa said she would let the Dr. Foster know, I never heard back. Today I received a call from Quest Diagnostic the lab that's contracted with Sunset Walk-in that tested my blood asking why they have not been paid, I explained the situation and told them they could sent the bill to the Sunset Walk-in. I then called Sunset Walk-in and talked to some very rude people who argued that I didn't get the results interpreted by Dr. Foster because I canceled my fallow up appointment that was set for a month after my original appiontment which made me very angry. Every other doctor I have ever gotten labs from has called me to tell me the results. I am extremely angry and I am going to spend the $25 for small claims court.
Dr. John Foster's team is fantastic! I've come in several times on a walk in basis and they have always been very accommodating! Jocelyn, Rudy, and Zoe always makes my experience pleasant even when I'm not feeling great. I've recommended him to a few friends & co-workers and will continue to do so! Thanks Sunset Walk-In!!
Dr Foster and his staff are very unprofessional and unkind. I went in for a stomach pain and Dr Foster treated me for anxiety and prescribed me a controlled substance which I didn't want to take but I trusted his opinion and took the medication accordingly. He was unreachable when I wasn't feeling well due to the medication and then I stopped taking it cold turkey and the withdrawals were terrible. I tried to see him for two weeks but he was out of town and His staff, especially Anthony who answers the phone was very rude when I was trying to get in touch with Dr Foster at this time. Dr foster had his "secretary" on staff call me and never once made himself available for a patient in need. I've never experience such a terrible and unprofessional team of people. Would Never going back there again and I'm happy to have a new doctor now!
My husband Ken fell and required a lot of stitches around his eye, cheek and nose. Our experience, given the circumstances, was amazing. Dr. Fuller was patient, professional and pleasant as was the nurse who assisted cleaning the wounds. The stitches are out now, but we want everyone to know how much we appreciate Med Now and their exceptional staff. Barb Nichols
