SUNY Oswego's Division of Graduate Studies offers 50 graduate programs and 7 graduate certificates on-campus, online and in Syracuse.
SUNY Oswego Graduate Studies was founded in 1861 as the Oswego Normal School by Edward Austin Sheldon. In 1948, Oswego became a founding member of the State University of New York system. Today, Oswego is a comprehensive college offering more than 110 academic programs, including over 30 graduate and certificate programs through four Schools of study - the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, AACSB-accredited School of Business, NCATE-accredited School of Education, and School of Communication, Media, and the Arts.
