Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter and regretted it! I understand you get what you pay for, but this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Water in tub would not turn off, walls in shower horrible, room smelled, door latch broken, carpet was old and could tell it had not beem cleaned in years, could see through the bottom of the door. I wish I could attach pictures to show just how bad this room was. Thankfully it was only for 2 nights and we left as soon as we woke up.
I was visiting here after a long day at Wild Adventures with my daughter. The staff were kind and helped us to our room. Beds were comfy and I didn’t see any roaches or frills. It’s also very affordable and overall gets the job done.Rooms: 4/5
Overall cleanliness of the room was very lacking. Toilet was dirty, carpet very dirty and in need of replacing, no hot water for shower, toilet was hard to flush, ice machine was broken. Dead bugs as well as live “pill” bugs were under the bed.Rooms: 1/5
Found roaches in our hotel room 106. On top of horrible customer service, the staff and 0 lack of compassion when it came to the needs of their guest. They only do towels every 3 days. They provided us with 4 towels and we checked in with 4 people. After the first day our towels were dirty but they proceeded to tell us they couldn't give us any more towels. We were instructed to use the same towels over and over for our showers and swimming. Over all if I could rate this -5 stars I would have. I could have found a batter way to spend my money.
The room was definitely old, with stains on bath fixtures, floors, carpets, pretty much everything except the beds. The beds were actually very comfortable. Also, the ladies at the front desk were pleasant and helpful.Rooms: 2/5
We stopped in Adel on our way back from Florida. I called ahead to reserve a room. As soon as I turned on the light, roaches not just one or two of them could be seen on the walls and floor. On the upside, or money was refunded with no problems, and no surprise from the desk clerk about why we wouldn't be staying. Noteworthy details: The room was full of roaches.
During a long drive from FL to KY, my party rented space here. When we turned on the lights as we entered the room, we saw 3 German cockroaches on the wall and the door and noped right back out. I took a picture in the event I got any argument when I asked for a refund. I got no argument, no surprise, and was told there wasn't any need to see the photograph. The refund was processed immediately. It's a budget hotel, we only expected a clean place to sleep and shower but bugs aren't acceptable, and the clerk's reaction told me all I needed to know about whether they knee the roaches were there.
Was on a trip to Florida and needed to stop for the evening. Got this room for $65. Called ahead of time made sure to check if pool was open was told yes. I get here at 8 pm pools locked down doesn't close until 10 they tell me it's "under maintenance"... I called not even an hour before making sure it was open. They offered no real explanation. Disability parking was a joke, one of the workers was parked in the handicap spot all night making it hard on my disabled parents to use the ramp etc with their walkers. The wifi is so weak my phone kept connecting and disconnecting from it, I couldn't even stream a movie on it! Honestly if you truly had nowhere to go sure this is okay but for $65 I expected a little better! The front desk didn't even know the wifi password. It is different than the paper in the room!
Stayed here before, will stay here again. Solid budget hotel with capable staff, updated rooms and comfortable beds. 5 stars not because it's a 5-star hotel but because you get what you need at a fair price. Safety: Barbed wire fence surrounds property to keep anyone not registered out, not bad area just near highway.
