Supera Park

Fun park that's perfect for my 3 and 4 year olds. No water features which is actually appreciated. A few swings and nautical-themed equipment, sand box and dolphin and sea horse rockers. The park is in great shape and just a few blocks from the Lincoln Park Library.

Supera Park is a super park! There are two play structures that are each designed to look like boats - complete with ship bow ladders and tall masts and sails. There are the standard set of swings as well as a sandbox. The play area is fully enclosed and the soft rubber play surface is shaded by large trees. There are benches and picnic tables for seating as well as a drinking fountain. A really great playground that is definitely worth checking out - highly recommend!

Can’t imagine there’s another park in the city that packs in as much activity—slides, swings, sand—as the “pirate park” does in such a tiny space. Do have to say, though, that the community toy element is, as of late summer ‘22, well on its way to becoming a bane rather than a boon: the park—the sandpit especially—has become a dumping ground for oversized toys and playsets. It’s gotten to the point now where it’s actually impeding kids from utilizing the park elements.

This is a nice and very well shaded park with a sandbox, swings and play structure. It is also just a couple blocks from a public library which is a bonus.

Great park with a variety of play spaces and types. Has a sandbox as well with numerous toys like dump truck, bulldozers so kids can have a fun time. It’s also in a nice and quite neighborhood and other people in the park are friendly.

Really nice, shady playground. The ample shade is welcome on a hot, sunny day. My kids love that the two climbing structures look like big ships. My youngest particularly loves the sandbox. This place is rarely crowded. A gem.

Good park with a wide array of equipment for toddlers up through bigger kids. They don't have a ton of swings though, so on crowded days there may be a wait. It's offset by a big sandbox that isn't found in a ton of parks throughout the city. I also like the rubberized ground instead of wood chips or sand, as it makes the park feel cleaner.

Great little park tucked away on Racine between Lilly Ave. Has a good sized sandbox, Teeter totters, swings and a large scaled activity platform shaped like a pirate ship. Also there are tables and benches for people to sit and eat. Unfortunately, the water fountains have been turned off permanently.
