SuperNOVA is committed to having all youth engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and feel empowered to learn more about STEM
SuperNOVA is a student-led, not-for-profit initiative of Dalhousie University that promotes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to youth from 5 to 18 years of age.
Based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, we offer exciting and innovative workshops, summer camps, clubs, and community events throughout Atlantic Canada that provide youth with fun and rewarding experiences in STEM and nurture a life-long love of exploration, creativity, and academic achievement.
All SuperNOVA programs are designed to complement provincial learning outcomes, are guided by evidence-based research, and incorporate practices and policies recommended by provincial and national organizations with expertise in STEM outreach, youth development, and day camp management.
With the support and guidance of Dalhousie University, Actua, and our supporters representing the private and public sectors, we are able to enhance our core programs with specialized outreach initiatives and services that ensure ALL youth, regardless of their geographic location, socio-economic situation, ability or gender, can be inspired and empowered through STEM.
