Supper Club of India Restaurant

I discovered Harvest of India back in 2005 when we first moved to Reston. At the time, our financial resources were quite limited, and this buffet provided us with an amazing meal, for a reasonable price that was laid back and welcoming. We went so often that the main waitress at the time, Lilly, got to know us personally. She saw our family grow by one child and then another. My kids refer to the place as "Lilly's Place." We moved away in 2010 and didn't go as often. During COVID and out of nowhere, my youngest requested Lilly's Place for her birthday! She was 9 and had probably not been there for five years. The place is as great as I remember. The buffet always has something spectacular and I love trying all the sauces. The raita is fresh and delicious, and they serve fresh Naan. Last time my daughter and I went Aug. 2022, they had opened up a section with "Indian street food." Although we didn't check it out, I'm super excited to go back and see what they have to offer. Everyone is always very friendly. The food is delicious. The place is calm and welcoming, and doesn't make one feel weird for bringing children. For over a decade, it has been a place where my children can discover new food and flavors, and expand their knowledge of the world. I get the feeling they have not been getting the traction they need, so I implore you, please give them a chance and go support this wonderful restaurant. We will be going much more often now that I know that it is still there with it's usual friendly smiles and amazing food. Please note: I am European by birth and have lived the majority of my life in Europe, South America and North America to include Mexico. I do not know what "typical" or "real" Indian food is nor can I make any distinction of what is considered traditional or not. I just know that I love it and will encourage all to go - no matter where you're from.

Amazing food. Reasonable prices. I wish I lived here so I would eat here more often. This is the best place to eat Indian food in Virginia. We actually went from Washington DC while on visit to see Cherry blossom during festival and it was worth it. Staff was very general to accommodate us 10 mins in advance than opening time and owner himself came and greeted us. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This place isn't like the old management. The menu is not the same and food quality is terrible. Nothing is fresh prepared anymore. A shame... I've been coming here for close to 10 years. New management ruined it.Food: 2/5

I loved the food! Not salty like a couple of other places I’ve been to. Their Avial was so good! The place is kept clean, and staff are nice. I wish they’d wipe the tables better because it felt slightly sticky.

Had the goat curry for dinner and boy, I’m impressed! Perfect spice, complex flavors, and extremely tender meat. I will be returning!

Great small place to have lunch. Buffet is small but very flavorful the currys are made with meat rather than bones Like other places. Place offers naam bread w/o asking for it. Service is great and food is even better

I was so excited to try this place after eating at their vegetarian restaurant Balaji Café a few weeks. The butter chicken was delicious! The sauce was so tasty and the amount of spice was perfect. The naan just topped it all off. Can't wait to order again :

This by far one of THE Best restaurants in town. Love their catering options and In house Chaat Menu. Price is very reasonable too. Must Visit.Recommended dishes
