Surfside Beach Library

Nicely laid out small town library with a pleasant helpful staff. Whether it's for research or entertainment; this branch has what you need or they can help you to get it. Children's section is adorable and spacious.

I have over 100 in my bank account, my card was declined when I tried to print out some things I absolutely needed today. They do not accept cash/change to print. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't come here if you absolutely need something printed that day because you might not be able to.

Great public library. Their summer reading program is top notch. Our 4 kids, 4 to 11, all found the program really fun. The staff is great and very friendly.

Clean, well organized with everything you need in a library. Choices and formats for everyone are available. I am from out of town and needed to print some documents. The young lady behind the counter came and showed me how to log in the computer. Later she came again and showed me how to enter the document codes and credit card on the printer. I don't know her name, but I want to thank her. Great service and beautiful building, even the parking lot is large and clean.

Had a wonderful lesson on how to find shark teeth. Also the library and the surrounding area was amazing. Watch for lesson.

Was there for a meeting. Nice staff...helpful. Good meeting space, was clean and neat...ready for use.

This is a great library!!! We have attended a book sale, spent time in the kids separate wing and printed often. The staff is helpful and informative.

recommended for adults, not for children. beautiful library, but librarians seem more interested in having kids sit still and be quiet and follow arbitrary rules that don’t actually seem important, than exploring and learning—even during supposedly child-centered activities. probably one of the most kid-unfriendly library i have visited.

New in town and brought my two-year-old to check out the library. Only got to experience the children’s section so far, but it was incredible! Large, very clean, TONS of books AND toys. Staff and “friends of the library” were all very pleasant and friendly. Libraries are the best, and this one impressed me.

I like the small size and the friendlyness of the libarians. They always have something going on.
