Each agent is passionate about what they do and always put the needs of the client over profit. It is one of the rare insurance agencies that prioritizes educating their clients on Medicare prior to signing them up for a plan, which allows clients to come to thoughtful decisions about their insurance needs. I needed my client to get discharged to the Central Coast and no one would accept him with his current insurance . I called Susan and Sonya and they went above and beyond to get him enrolled that day because it was the end of the month & he would have to stay in the hospital another month if we couldn’t change his insurance !!! I just left the office of Susan Polk, and I truly feel blessed to have been lead to her to help me with my making Medicare my insurance. The last few weeks have been very stressful with the switch, and now I'm track. I just have one more step I have to deal with and I'll be set! Susan and the people in her office have always been very professional, returned calls in a timely manner and shown me how prices compare with different insurance options. Each year Laurie has also helped me compare Medicare drug plans, as they can change annually. I’ve been very happy with her Agency and have referred many people there and been thanked profusely.
Insurance is not fun, but I found out it can be easy. How? I called Susan Polk. She is amazing - really knowledgeable, interested and can spell it out in layman's terms. AND just as important to me, she is a good person. She cares and has a great laugh. Which is icing on the cake. Recommend her 100%
First of all, had there been more than 5 stars, Susan would have gotten a higher rating from me. I was in Southern California ready to make a move to San Luis Obispo county. Susan had stellar ratings and reviews on Yelp so I contacted her. From the start, Susan was professional, VERY knowledgeable and informative. I knew right off that she was the one. She answered myriad questions on the phone and via email prior to our move to SLO. Very generous with her time. I received a package in the mail from her shortly after our initial conversation. Impressive! She is a Medicare specialist. That was easily identifiable in her first email to me! I was again impressed because I had spoken to other people that were merely ok. Susan made Medicare comprehensive for me. Medical insurance is convoluted enough....Medicare is more so. She set up my husband with the perfect plan for him. She knows her stuff inside, outside and upside down. We moved to SLO, met Susan and Veronica; set up my husband with Medicare plus Rx. Easy breezy and since I'm Japanese, I feel I can add, Japanesey. I needed to get a termination letter from our previous insurer, and then my husband's Medicare would be done and done with his new carrier, Mutual of Omaha. Little did I know that Kaiser was about to take me into a mired cluster of miscommunications, circumlocutions and non-action. Laurie and Susan came to the rescue! They were in communication with Kaiser, kept Mutual of Omaha apprised of the situation and kept me informed and calm! It was a relief to know that Susan and Laurie understood the situation, they knew Kaiser's MO, they had an existing relationship with MOO and most importantly, they were there for us. It all worked out perfectly but there was a day that I prayed for lots of thanks that I was led to Susan Polk because the quagmire was beginning to stink with Kaiser. Had I not had Susan and Laurie, I know I wouldn't have gotten the perfect fit for my husband. Were I you, and was in need of assistance with insurance, you would be blessed in contacting Susan Polk. Susan and her team are the Cadillac of insurance specialists in my eyes. Thanks Susan, Laurie and Veronica!
