The food LOOKS really good. In fact they did a really good job in displaying the food. Unfortunately though the taste is a bit lacking, I've definitely been to much better Japanese places. The sushi was kind of dry and the rice was hard. After eating at this restaurant we were all thirsty for the entire night. I'm not sure why but my entire group that ate there was thirsty. I personally wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Affordable, decent sushi around downtown. Ordering was pretty fast, you just have to order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table. It’s the cafetaria style. I got the today’s special for $10.50 and got california roll 8pc, bc roll 4pcs and salmon roll 4pcs. Taste was decent and rolls hold up nicely.
Ordered seafood salad, and buy 1 get 1 free calamari on Ubereats. Seafood salad was pricey at 17.99 but they did give plenty of sashimi chunks more so than other places. It was not bad but it depends on the tastebud. I would prefer some mayo and tobiko to compliment the wafu sauce. No points taken off for that. However, the most disappointing was the calamari. $12 for one order. I ordered 2 orders and it only had 8 rings. 80% of the box was fries, which was not listed in the menu item. Very misleading. That is $3 for one calamari ring!!
Chicken is very soft and tastes good. Maybe it uses fresh meat. If you eat chicken here, you will never regret it. I really recommend it!Food: 5/5
I grabbed take out one night and was pleasantly surprised by this meal. I had the california roll which was really good. I also had the beef bibimbap which was excellent. The portion was generous and the price was very affordable. Ghe sauce for thr bibimbap was really tasty. The employees were friendly and the service was prompt. If you want a cheap, beautifully presented and delicious meal, definately try out this spot!!!
Great sushi for the price. We came here when it opened at noon on Saturday and ordered the special and the dynamite combos. The rice was fresh, well cooked with individual grains and seasoned. The fish was fresh and tasty. The fish wasn’t the highest quality but For the price you pay, this is one of the better spots in the heart of Vancouver.
Located on Seymour street across from the Hudson Bay at pacific center. Has decent amount of seating indoors but no outdoor seating. You get a decent amount of food for the price. I ordered the sushi and sashimi Bento Box. Fish was fresh and delicious. Seating is staggered and tables seemed to be wiped down frequently. They are doing their best to keep up with Covid protocols. I would go here again.
Just ordered take out for the 1st time, what a nice surprise! Great food, nice presentation and yet very affordable sushi! Quality ingredients and great service from staff I was on my bike so they brought my order all the way to the front for me with the machine! Will be back for sure!
Used to be a fan of this place and was a regular customer. Recently they have made drastic changes to lunch menu and removed the Bento boxes as an option. Didn’t think much of the menu change and ordered one of the rolls combo, order was ready on time and the rolls look ok. The taste wasn’t good, rolls tasted a bit state and left a weird after taste. Appetizers were the saving grace for the order. Don’t think I’ll be visiting this place again. Sad to see one of the regular spot go down in quality:
It’s better than another sushi restaurant Lots of options to choose Donburi, bento, noodles, hand roll, don, sashimi and sushi. There are also many dishes for vegetarians. And it’s not quite fancy. the sushimi was fresh but the rices were a bit much.
