Salad was slimy and lettuce was pink because it was so old. Ordered the teriyaki steak - $30. Over half of it was fat and gristle, but the teriyaki sauce was very tasty. Ordered through Uber Eats and both bubble teas were forgotten. Veggie gyoza was decent, but the sauce for it was sour and horrible. If you’re the one friend who doesn’t like sushi, don’t get sucked into the same choices I made.
Delicious dinner, relaxing atmosphere great service by Ryan. Tuna Tataki was perfectly prepared. Miso soup was mi- so delicious. Hot sake warmed the insides on a rainy day.Food: 5/5
Gina my server was simply fabulous and the food….my my, the sushi was phenomenal and so fresh. I can’t wait to visit them again.
Good place to go on a casual date, I would go back one of these days.Food: 5/5
I work in the area and come here all the time. Every single one of their employees are so friendly and every time I come in, I know I’ll be getting my food quick. I love getting their taro bubble tea, Jasmin makes it amazing! When I come on my lunch break, I make sure Ryan or Nick take care of me. They’re so knowledgeable of the menu items and always give me great recommendations. HIGHLY recommend the coral reef roll, the dragon roll, and their bacon fried rice! 10000/10
Nick was great. His knowledge of the food and was excellent. He was able to help the kids pick something they would like and made it fun for them. Thank you so much nick. We will be back. -Food: 5/5
Best service by Julia. My first time around she recommended the Aji Amarillo poke bowl which was amazing. Very friendly staff, loved engaging in conversation with Samantha and the sushi chefs. 10/10 will come back with friends next time.Food: 5/5
Wonderful restaurant! I came here on the weekend and was served by Madison. She was very attentive throughout the night and gave awesome recommendations. I got the steak kushiyaki as an appetizer as well as the coral reef roll. The sushi was fresh and the steak was delicious! Will be returning very soon, I had a very nice experience.
I had not been there in quite some time over 20 years. Still there, I used to go to Sunset Place all the time. The crowd was good and stores were open. When I went on 4/29/23, seemed like ghost town. In order for us to pass the time, we went and got a quick bite. We wanted to see a movie afterward. Service and food was good. My favorite ! you have Barnes and Nobles. The chef was very nice and explained each sushi that came out for us. Overall, good experience.
Golly. Assigning a Low rating for sushi was difficult. Please press the like button if you appreciate the review. This is solely my experience. Cost, expect about fifteen dollars per person plus drinks. Okay. Let's start with The Good! + Clever look at the menu on your phone option is available. While it didn't work for me, it is still a nice option if it worked. + Servers were great! Masks were still being worn at the time of this visit, and the servers were all wearing them correctly. + Touch less payment available! Got the paper receipt, and was able to pay by phone! Never had to lose sight of my card, didn't have to hassle with a physical card. Great! Now the not so perfect +/- Rainbow Roll was good, although smallish for the price. The server did mention they have new chefs that "might affect the speed of service", but it shouldn't affect the food. - The Spicy Tuna. Oh my. I'll post pictures. This is solely my experience. First, it was small. But worse, It appeared the tuna was mushed, like that of a can of tuna. Maybe that is what it was supposed to be, like a fish dip tuna from a can or something. It had an interesting taste, like a mayonnaise blended can of tuna with a splash of some type of hot sauce, wrapped in rice. And the worst part was that several hours later I had burps that tasted like off canned tuna. Not pleasant at all. The roll was very small, much smaller than the already small rainbow roll, but considering the taste and the after taste hours later, that might be a good thing. There are other sushi places opened, so I'll likely visit others in the future.
