Suzanne McColl is a psychotherapist specializing in trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression and grief and loss issues.
Suzanne McColl has been practicing psychotherapy for over 25 years, starting in New York City hospitals, and moving to Connecticut 20 years ago. She started out as a dance/movement therapist and later trained in traditional psychotherapy methods. She works with different therapeutic approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.
Suzanne specializes trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression and grief and loss issues and has experience in working with children, adults, couples, and families. Depending on your needs, she can provide short term problem focused therapy and/or longer term, explorational therapy.
Suzanne believes in each individual’s innate ability to grow in their feelings of competency and self-worth. She is a strong believer in the mind-body connection and this is reflected in her use of holistic modalities.
