Super tasty! We dined at the counter because it was packed so we got to sit instantly. I had the falukorv sausage with eggs and potatoes. Delicious! The highlight is the crepe filled with lingonberry cream. So good!
For brunch this is the place to go. The meats provided in the breakfast plates are amazing. They have a unique mustard that is really good on the sausages. Swedish pancakes are to die for. Best enjoy with Lingonberry jam. Service was super good. Just note weekends it does get crowded so plan your visit accordingly.
As someone who has no Swedish things to go to besides Ikea in Ohio, this is Amazing. Delicious too!Food: 5/5
My first time having Swedish food me and my family went in for breakfast, and everyone sampled a different plate just to see how the food was going to be and of course I had to try Swedish meatballs That was some of the best food and breakfast that we’ve all had the service was great. The environment was clean and welcoming and I look forward to returning next year when we’re back in town.
Solid traditional Swedish-American Diner. You are not from Chicago if you haven't had pancakes and sausage at Svea in Andersonville.Food: 4/5
Stopped in here on my way out of town and truly enjoyed it! We were greeted and sat quickly. Our server checked in on us regularly and the food came out fast. I had a veggie omelet and a coffee. The potatoes that came with the omelet were crispy and hot! The prices were fair and the location is in a quaint strip of shopping and food. I'd return.
Tasty breakfast, and budget-friendlyFood: 5/5
Really good food and fun little visit. Unique vibe and authenticity in the menu with Swedish dishes and flavors.
My wife and I were hungry for brunch this past Sunday after coming to town to see the Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade. We decided on this Swedish restaurant and had the Viking Breakfast, which consists of Falukorv sausage, eggs, potatoes, and Swedish pancakes similar to a crepe. The service was great. The only downside was the table was very small and my wife dropped her toast, but the server brought her out fresh toast, so no harm done!
If you want to eat like a peasant for a high price go here! Flavorless and small portions. As close to Swedish food as you can get except done wrong.Food: 1/5
