Support local business! Swan has been a Wauwatosa community fixture for countless years. They are kind, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to help. They are great for last minute gifts and cards, and their OTC prices tend to be pretty good too. Highly recommend.

Swan Pharmacy in Wauwatosa is special place for many reasons, and while it’s services and value are certainly different for each individual, it is a passion of mine to provide genuine feedback to places like this - good or bad.  As someone who has used both pharmacies over the years, I can say without reservation, that Swan is indeed superior to Walgreens in every single aspect - with the exception that Swan isn’t open 24 hours.  Swan fills with high quality generic drugs when the name brand is not available, and will always get a medication you might need, if it isn’t in stock to begin with.  Randy is the owner at Swan and has surrounded himself with a team that cares about your health and privacy, always taking as much time as you need on the side to discuss anything about your medications and how they impact your overall health.  While there are several pharmacists, they have added one that I believe is the best I have had in 20 years.  Adam brings a vast array of knowledge in the area of medicine, including OTC medications which he will explain and recommend if you need.  He is the epitome of what a pharmacist should be and brings with him a bedside manner every doctor and pharmacist should strive for.  Swan will fill my medications as well as my family’s, for as long as they continue to operate in this unpredictable world.  I am very thankful for their presence, and don’t take it for granted.

They are similar to walgreens, but at least Walgreens notifies you when your prescription are ready for pick up.  They don't have auto refill, and they way until you call them to notify your doctor that you need a refill on a script  that you for life. I'm sick of these old hags.

I been going there for years but wasn’t particularly satisfied last time I was there.  I picked up medication for my dad and notice it was noticeable higher price then last month, I asked the pharmacist why is it more then last time and he told me it was insurance and when I checked my claims list online they overcharge you.   I asked the pharmacist why the price increase and he told me it because of insurance and I told him I might I have to cvs and he told me “you should go there”.  I’ve been doing business with them for years and my last experience I had with them is making me support corporate business instead of small business like swan serve u. The old lady with glasses there is rude too, never meet someone that rude in my life.

Lived out of town and needed my medications filled. Pharmacist went over and beyond to get it taken care of. Tried CVS and Walgreens but would probably still be on hold 4weeks later.

EVERYTIME I pick up my prescriptions I’m greeted by name! Customer service is amazing!! THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP!!! I absolutely love this place!! Walgreens needs to take notes from this pharmacy as to how to treat customers!!

Extremely kind, professional, helpful, and accommodating staff. We have been going there for 20 years. They bend over backwards to help you get your medicine in a timely fashion. They are knowledgeable about insurance companies and over the years have called doctors to help get answers to our questions. I recommend them without hesitation.

Randy and his staff are absolutely incredible. Night and day difference from any other pharmacy I've ever been to. The only pharmacy I know of that truly cares about their clients. Everyone is so pleasant and accommodating. I didn't think that was still a thing in pharma, but it is and it's here. I have expensive prescriptions I fill every month and I never understood how I could be treated like I don't matter. It turns out I do matter and CVS and Walgreens are so systematically impaired that they not only don't help you but they make your life difficult. It is incredible to me how my quality of life has been increased simply by switching my prescriptions to Swan Pharmacy. It's important to recognize companies and businesses that not only Excel but set a standard that I am very very grateful for, and if everyone and every company and every person cared like they do the world would be a much better place.

I have never dealt with such a wonderful staff in my life. I drive 35 min, past many other pharmacies, to patronize this business. My loyalty is well-deserved. ~Noelle

I have grown up with Swan as my family pharmacy for years and I just LOVE them.  When trying to reorder my perscription after a long road trip,  I realized I didn't have the order number with me.  One quick phone call and they took care of it NO HASSLE without even having to come in. It just isn't the same anywhere else. Wonderful people and wonderful service.
