After a career with the Canadian government and teaching elementary school both overseas and here in the U.S., Angela finally decided to follow her passion of baking and pastry.
With encouragement from her husband, Angela completed a Baking & Pastry Management Associate in Science Degree from Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Even before receiving her degree, she began working as a pastry cook at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. After 1.5 years at the Ritz-Carlton, her husband received military orders to California.
Angela quickly found a new pastry position on the West Coast at L'Auberge Del Mar, a boutique hotel located in Del Mar, CA.
Angela left L'Auberge Del Mar to stay at home with her twin boys and has continued to practice her love of the pastry arts on a part-time basis.
